3. Setup

3.1 Battery Installation

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the camera.
  2. Open the compartment door.
  3. Insert the required number of appropriate batteries (refer to the camera's battery compartment for specific type and quantity, typically AA batteries), ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  4. Close the battery compartment door securely to ensure a watertight seal.

3.2 SD Card Installation

  1. With the camera powered off, locate the SD card slot.
  2. Insert the provided 32GB SD card into the slot until it clicks into place. Ensure the card is inserted in the correct orientation.
  3. To remove, gently push the card in until it clicks, then release, and it will eject.

3.3 Mounting the Camera

The camera comes with an all-steel adjustable tree mount bracket and a 6 ft. camera strap for secure placement.

  1. Select a suitable location for your camera, ensuring a clear view of the desired area.
  2. Thread the camera strap through the mounting slots on the camera's bracket.
  3. Wrap the strap around a tree or post and secure it tightly using the heavy-duty metal buckle.
  4. Adjust the camera's angle using the adjustable bracket to achieve the optimal viewing position.

4. Operating the Camera

4.1 Powering On/Off

Locate the power switch inside the camera's housing. Slide the switch to the 'ON' position to power on the camera. To power off, slide the switch to the 'OFF' position.

The camera features a 1.5-inch color viewing screen and control buttons for easy navigation. Use the directional buttons (Up, Down, Left, Right) to move through menu options and the 'OK' or 'Enter' button to select.
