2. Setup Guide

Follow these steps to assemble and prepare your Voluas Cat Water Fountain for use.

1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging. Ensure you have the stainless steel bowl, lid, pump module, filter, and charging cable.
2. Install Filter: Place the filter into its designated slot within the pump module. Ensure it is securely seated.
3. Assemble Pump Module: Attach the spigot to the pump module.
4. Charge Battery: If using battery power, connect the charging cable to the pump module and a power source. Allow the unit to fully charge before first use. The battery indicator light will show charging status.
5. Fill with Water: Place the stainless steel bowl on a flat surface. Fill the bowl with clean water, ensuring the water level is between the MIN and MAX lines indicated inside the bowl.
6. Place Lid: Carefully place the lid with the assembled pump module onto the stainless steel bowl. Ensure it sits flush and securely.

3. Operating Modes

The Voluas Cat Water Fountain offers three operating modes to suit your pet's needs. Use the function key on the pump module to switch between modes.

• Sensor Mode: When your pet approaches within 5 feet, the fountain automatically dispenses water for 30 seconds. This mode conserves battery life and encourages pets to drink.
• Timed Mode: The fountain dispenses water for 15 seconds every 15 minutes. This provides regular access to fresh water while still being energy efficient.
• Continuous Flow Mode: Provides 24/7 running water. This mode is only supported when the fountain is connected to an external power source via the charging cable.

4. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning and maintenance are crucial for the longevity of your fountain and the health of your pet.

Daily Cleaning and Maintenance:

1. Disconnect power supply and turn off the product before cleaning. Keep the charging port dry.
2. Take out the filter cotton, filter tray, and rinse them with clean water.
3. Immerse the water container, water tray, and filter mesh in water and wash them clean.
4. Do not immerse or wash the master control module; do not clean it in a dishwasher.
5. After cleaning the water container, wipe the charging port clean before connecting power.
6. It is recommended to change the drinking water every 3 days. Clean the product before changing water.

Cleaning and Maintenance of the Water Pump:

To ensure the water pump continues to operate normally and maintain its service life, the water pump must be cleaned regularly.

1. Remove the Pump Cover.
2. Remove the Impeller Cap.
3. Remove the Impeller.
4. Clean the inside of the water pump and the impeller with the provided brush.

5. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your Voluas Cat Water Fountain, refer to the following common solutions.

• Sensor Mode Not Responding / Abnormal Water Flow:
  • Inspect the pump for clogs or performance issues. It may require cleaning or replacement.
  • Ensure the unit is fully charged and check the battery indicator light. Low battery may affect the fountain’s ability to activate in sensor mode.
• No Water Flowing from the Pump:
  • The water level may be too low. Ensure the water level is above the minimum mark.
  • The pump may be clogged. Clean the pump thoroughly as described in the Maintenance section.
  • Ensure the power supply is connected correctly if operating in Continuous Flow mode or if the battery is low.
• Water Pump is Noisy:
  • Ensure the water level is at or near the maximum line. Low water levels can cause the pump to become noisy.
  • Check for any debris or foreign objects in the pump that might be causing noise. Clean the pump if necessary.
