Setup & Installation
Proper installation is crucial for safety and performance. If you are unsure about any steps, consult a professional bicycle mechanic.
1. Inspect Components
Before installation, carefully inspect both wheels for any signs of damage during shipping. Check spokes for tension and ensure the rims are true.
2. Tire and Tube/Tubeless Setup
Install your preferred 700c clincher tires with inner tubes, or set up the wheels for tubeless use according to your tire manufacturer's instructions. Ensure the rim tape is properly seated if using tubes, or that tubeless tape and sealant are correctly applied for tubeless setups.

3. Cassette Installation
Install your 8-13 speed cassette onto the rear hub's freehub body. Ensure it is properly aligned and tightened to the manufacturer's specifications using a cassette lockring tool. A 1.85mm spacer may be required for 10-speed cassettes.
4. Disc Brake Rotor Installation
Attach your centerlock disc brake rotors to the hubs. Ensure the lockring is tightened securely according to the rotor manufacturer's torque specifications.

Maintenance
Regular maintenance extends the life of your wheelset and ensures safe riding.
- Cleaning: Clean rims and hubs regularly with mild soap and water. Avoid high-pressure washing directly on bearings.
- Spoke Tension: Periodically check spoke tension. Uneven tension can lead to wheel damage or reduced performance.
- Bearing Check: Listen for any grinding or excessive play in the hubs. Sealed bearings generally require minimal maintenance but should be inspected by a professional if issues arise.
- Tire Pressure: Maintain recommended tire pressure for optimal performance and to prevent pinch flats (for tube setups) or rim damage.
Troubleshooting
- Wheel Wobble: If the wheel wobbles, it may be out of true or have loose spokes. Consult a bike mechanic for truing.
- Brake Rubbing: Check brake caliper alignment and ensure the wheel is seated correctly in the dropouts.
- Hub Noise: Unusual noises from the hub may indicate worn bearings or issues with the freehub mechanism. Professional inspection is recommended.
- Tire Leaks (Tubeless): Check for punctures, insufficient sealant, or improper tubeless tape installation.
