1. Introduction

The NACON Revolution 5 Pro is an officially licensed wireless gaming controller designed for high-performance gaming across PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC platforms. It incorporates advanced features such as magnetic Hall Effect technology, customizable trigger blockers, and a specialized D-pad to enhance precision and durability.

2. Key Features

• Wireless and Wired Connectivity: Utilizes a USB-A wireless adapter for PS5, PS4, and PC, offering up to 10 hours of battery life. A 3-meter USB-C to USB-A cable is included for wired play.
• Hall Effect Technology: Magnetic sensors are integrated into both joysticks and triggers to prevent stick drift and enhance precision and durability.
• Trigger Blockers: Adjustable trigger depth allows users to select between long or short pulls, adapting to various gaming styles and in-game scenarios.
• Remappable Shortcuts: Four Omron micro-switch back paddles provide quick reactions and tactile feedback.

3.2 Wireless Connection (PS5/PS4/PC)

1. Insert the USB-A wireless adapter into an available USB port on your PS5, PS4, or PC. For optimal performance on PS5, use a SuperSpeed USB port.
2. Power on the controller by pressing the PlayStation button. The controller should automatically pair with the adapter.
3. The LED indicator on the controller will confirm a successful connection.

3.3 Wired Connection

For competitive play or when battery is low, connect the controller directly to your console or PC using the provided 3-meter USB-C to USB-A braided cable.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Basic Controls

Familiarize yourself with the standard PlayStation button layout, along with the additional customizable buttons and switches on the controller.

4.2 Profile Switching

Use the dedicated 'Profile' button on the controller to cycle through your custom profiles, allowing for quick adaptation to different games or playstyles.

4.3 Trigger Blockers

Adjust the physical switches on the back of the controller to set the desired trigger travel distance for L2 and R2. This allows for faster response times in certain game genres.

4.4 Bluetooth Audio Connectivity

To connect Bluetooth earbuds or a headset:

1. Ensure the controller is in PS4 or PS5 mode.
2. Activate pairing mode on your Bluetooth audio device.
3. Press and hold the Bluetooth button on the controller until it starts flashing blue and white.
4. The devices should pair automatically.

5. Customization

5.1 Interchangeable Components

The Revolution 5 Pro offers extensive hardware customization:

• Weights: Insert different weights into the controller grips to achieve your preferred balance and feel.

6. Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your controller:

7. Troubleshooting

• Controller Not Powering On PS5: The Revolution 5 Pro uses a wireless dongle for connection and cannot power on the PS5 console directly. You will need to manually power on your PS5 or use a PlayStation media remote.
• Connectivity Issues: Ensure the USB-A wireless adapter is securely plugged into a SuperSpeed USB port on your console or PC. If issues persist, try re-pairing the controller with the adapter.
• Customization Not Applying: For advanced customization, ensure you have downloaded and are using the dedicated PC/Mac application. Basic profile switching is available via onboard controls.
• No Vibration on PS5: Due to proprietary technology, the controller's vibration function is not available when used with PlayStation 5 consoles. Vibration is supported on PS4 and PC.
• No Sound from Controller Speaker: The Revolution 5 Pro does not feature an internal speaker for game audio. Audio is routed through connected Bluetooth headsets or the 3.5mm wired headset port (PS4/PS5 modes only).
• Stick Drift: The Hall Effect technology is designed to prevent stick drift. If you experience any issues, ensure the controller firmware is up to date via the dedicated PC/Mac application.
