5. Setup
5.1 Charging the Device
Before first use, fully charge the device. Connect the supplied Type-C charging cable to the USB port (4) on the recorder and the other end to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port. The light indicator (9) will show charging status and turn off or change color when fully charged.
5.2 Power On/Off
- To power on, slide the ON/OFF switch (17) to the 'ON' position.
- To power off, slide the ON/OFF switch (17) to the 'OFF' position.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Basic Recording
- Ensure the device is powered on.
- Press the REC button (6) to start recording. The LCD (10) will display recording status and time.
- To pause recording, press the Play/Pause/Confirm button (12). Press again to resume.
- To stop recording and save the file, press the SAVE/Return button (11). The recording will be saved automatically.
6.2 Voice-Activated Recording (VAR)
The device features voice-activated recording, which helps conserve memory and avoid silent periods. To enable and adjust VAR settings:
- Navigate to the settings menu using the MKey button (14).
- Locate the 'Voice Activated Recording' or 'VOR' setting.
- Select and adjust the voice decibel level (sensitivity). The recorder will start recording when the sound level exceeds this threshold and pause when it falls below.
- Exit the menu to apply settings. When VAR is active, recording will automatically start and stop based on detected sound.
6.3 Playback
- From the main menu, navigate to your recorded files.
- Select the desired file using the navigation buttons (15, 16) and press Play/Pause/Confirm (12) to start playback.
- Adjust volume using Vol+ (2) and Vol- (3).
- To use earphones, plug them into the Headphone jack (8).
6.3.1 AB Repeat Function
During playback, press the A-B Repeat button (1) once to set point 'A'. Press it again to set point 'B'. The device will then continuously loop playback between points 'A' and 'B'. Press A-B Repeat again to exit the loop.
6.3.2 Variable Playback Speed
