Introduction
The GODOX RT-16 Wireless Flash Trigger Set is designed to provide reliable wireless synchronization for studio monolights and strobe flashes. Operating on a 433MHz frequency, it offers 16 selectable channels for interference-free operation. This set includes one transmitter and one receiver, enabling remote control of your flash units.
The system supports a synchronization speed of up to 1/200s and has a wireless control range of up to 30 meters. It is compatible with a wide range of camera brands including Fujifilm, Canon, Nikon, Olympus, and Pentax. Please refer to the compatibility list for specific models.
Note: This product is not compatible with Sony MI hotshoe cameras or Canon 1500D, 3000D, and 200D Mark II models.
Setup
1. Battery Installation
The transmitter requires a 12V 23A battery, and the receiver requires two AAA batteries (not included). Ensure correct polarity when inserting batteries.

2. Setting Channels
Both the transmitter and receiver feature dip switches to select one of 16 available channels. For proper operation, ensure both units are set to the same channel.

3. Connecting to Equipment
Mount the transmitter onto your camera's hotshoe. Connect the receiver to your studio strobe or monolight using the appropriate sync cable. The receiver has a 3.5mm jack, and a 3.5mm to 6.35mm adapter is included for compatibility with larger sync ports.

Operating Instructions
1. Power On
Ensure both the transmitter and receiver are powered on using their respective ON/OFF switches.
2. Test Firing
Press the test button on the transmitter to verify that the connected flash unit fires. The indicator light on the receiver should illuminate when a signal is received.
3. Camera Synchronization
Once the transmitter is mounted on your camera's hotshoe and the receiver is connected to your flash, take a picture. The flash unit should fire in sync with your camera's shutter.
4. Multiple Receivers
One RT-16 transmitter can control multiple RT-16 receivers simultaneously, provided all units are set to the same channel. This allows for multi-light setups.

Maintenance
1. Battery Replacement
When the indicator light on the transmitter or receiver becomes dim or the units fail to trigger reliably, it is time to replace the batteries. Refer to the battery installation section for guidance.

2. Cleaning
Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the transmitter and receiver. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
3. Storage
When not in use for extended periods, remove batteries from both units to prevent leakage. Store the set in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

- Inconsistent firing:
- Check for potential interference from other wireless devices.
- Reduce the distance between the transmitter and receiver.
- Ensure there are no significant obstructions between the units.
- Compatibility issues:
- Review the camera compatibility list provided in the setup section.
- Note that Sony MI hotshoe cameras and specific Canon models (1500D, 3000D, 200D Mark II) are not supported.
