If storing the monitor for an extended period, ensure the parent unit's battery is partially charged (around 50%) and store in a cool, dry place.

6. Troubleshooting

  • No Signal/Poor Connection:
Ensure both the camera and parent unit are powered on and within range (up to 1000ft in open areas). Obstacles like walls and furniture can reduce range. Try moving the units closer or adjusting their positions.
  • No Picture/Sound:
Check if the parent unit's screen is on and not in VOX mode. Adjust volume settings. Ensure the camera is properly powered.
  • Battery Life Issues:
Ensure the parent unit is fully charged before use. VOX mode can help extend battery life. Battery performance may decrease over time.
  • Interference:
Other 2.4GHz devices (e.g., Wi-Fi routers, cordless phones) may cause interference. Try moving the monitor away from such devices.
