1. Important Safety Information

Read this manual carefully before operating the TOURSOR X5 Electric Scooter. Failure to follow the instructions and safety warnings could result in serious injury or damage to the scooter.

• Always wear a helmet and appropriate safety gear (knee pads, elbow pads) when riding.
• Do not ride in wet conditions, heavy rain, or through puddles. The scooter has IP55 waterproof rating, but it is not designed for submersion.
• Ensure all bolts and quick releases are securely tightened before each ride.
• Do not exceed the maximum load capacity of 220 lbs (100 kg).
• Maintain a safe speed and always be aware of your surroundings.
• Familiarize yourself with local laws and regulations regarding electric scooter use.
• Regularly check tire pressure, brakes, and overall scooter condition.

3. Setup and Assembly

The TOURSOR X5 Electric Scooter comes partially assembled. Follow these steps to complete the setup.

1. Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Verify that all parts listed in Figure 2 are present.
2. Handlebar Installation:
   • Lift the handlebar stem to its upright position until it locks securely.
   • Attach the handlebars to the stem, ensuring all cables are not pinched. Tighten the screws firmly using the provided toolkit.
3. Seat Installation (Optional):
   • Insert the seat post into the designated slot on the scooter deck.
   • Adjust the seat height to a comfortable position and secure it with the quick-release lever.
4. Initial Charge: Before first use, fully charge the scooter's battery. Refer to the "Charging the Battery" section for detailed instructions.
5. Pre-Ride Check: Before every ride, ensure tires are properly inflated, brakes are functional, and all connections are secure.

4. Operating the Scooter

Controls Overview:

• Key Switch: Insert and turn the key to power on/off the scooter.
• Voltage Lock: Provides additional security.
• Power Button: Turns the display on/off.
• Mode Button: Cycles through riding modes (e.g., Eco, Standard, Sport) or display information.
• Accelerator: Thumb throttle on the right handlebar to control speed.
• Brake Handles: Left and right levers control the hydraulic disc brakes.
• Light Switch: Activates dual headlights, taillights, and turn signals.
• Horn Switch: Activates the horn.
• Display Panel: Shows current speed, speed gears, battery power, and trip distance.

Riding Instructions:

1. Power On: Insert the key and turn it to the ON position. Press the power button on the display.
2. Starting: Place one foot on the deck and push off with the other foot to gain initial momentum. Once moving, gently press the accelerator.
3. Acceleration: Gradually press the accelerator to increase speed. Avoid sudden acceleration.
4. Braking: Gently squeeze both brake levers simultaneously for smooth stopping. For emergency stops, apply firm pressure to both levers.
5. Turning: Lean into turns and use the handlebars for steering.
6. Power Off: Release the accelerator, bring the scooter to a complete stop, and turn the key to the OFF position.

5. Charging the Battery

The TOURSOR X5 is equipped with a 48V 18AH lithium battery. Proper charging extends battery life.

1. Locate Charging Port: The charging port is typically located on the side of the scooter deck.
2. Connect Charger: Ensure the scooter is powered off. Plug the charger into a standard wall outlet, then connect the charging cable to the scooter's charging port.
3. Charging Indicator: The charger's indicator light will typically be red during charging and turn green when fully charged.
4. Charging Time: A full charge takes approximately 8-10 hours. Do not overcharge the battery.
5. Disconnect: Once fully charged, disconnect the charger from the scooter first, then from the wall outlet.

Important: Use only the original charger provided with your scooter. Do not charge the battery in extreme temperatures.

6. Folding and Unfolding

The TOURSOR X5 features a 3-second fast folding mechanism for easy portability and storage.

Folding Instructions:

1. Ensure the scooter is powered off.
2. Locate the folding latch/lever at the base of the handlebar stem.
3. Engage the safety lock, then pull the folding lever to release the stem.
4. Carefully fold the handlebar stem downwards until it clicks into place, securing it to the rear fender or a designated latch on the deck.

Unfolding Instructions:

1. Release the latch that secures the folded stem to the deck/fender.
2. Lift the handlebar stem upwards until it locks securely into the upright riding position. Ensure the folding latch is fully engaged and the safety lock is applied.
3. Verify that the stem is stable and does not wobble before riding.

7. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your TOURSOR X5 Electric Scooter.

• Cleaning: Wipe the scooter with a damp cloth. Do not use high-pressure water jets or immerse the scooter in water.
• Tire Pressure: Check tire pressure regularly. The 11-inch pneumatic tires require proper inflation for optimal performance and safety. Refer to the tire sidewall for recommended PSI.
• Brakes: Inspect hydraulic disc brakes for wear and proper function. Adjust or replace brake pads as needed. Ensure brake levers have appropriate tension.
• Fasteners: Periodically check and tighten all screws, bolts, and connections, especially on the handlebars, stem, and wheels.
• Battery Care: Store the scooter in a cool, dry place. If storing for extended periods, charge the battery to about 50-70% every 1-2 months to prevent deep discharge.
• Lubrication: Apply a small amount of lubricant to moving parts like folding mechanisms if they become stiff.
