3. Setup and Installation
Follow these steps for proper installation of your dash camera system:
- Prepare the Windshield: Clean the area on your front windshield where the dash camera will be mounted. Ensure it is free of dust and grease for optimal adhesive performance.
- Attach Electrostatic Sticker: Apply the electrostatic sticker to the chosen area on the windshield. This protects your windshield and allows for easier removal of the adhesive mount.
- Mount the Front Dash Camera: Peel off the protective film from the 3M adhesive pad on the magnetic mount. Attach the mount firmly to the electrostatic sticker. The dash camera can then be magnetically attached to this mount. Ensure the camera lens has a clear view of the road and does not obstruct your driving visibility. The front camera angle is adjustable up to 40 degrees.
- Install the Rear Camera: Choose a suitable location for the rear camera, typically on the rear windshield. The rear camera can be mounted internally and rotates 360 degrees for flexible positioning. Use the provided 3M adhesive and route the cable discreetly using the crowbar and cable clips.
- Connect Power: Connect the Type-C power cable to the dash camera and plug the car charger into your vehicle's cigarette lighter socket. For 24/7 parking mode functionality, a hardwire kit (not included) is required.
- Insert SD Card: Insert the included 64GB SD card into the designated slot on the dash camera. Ensure it is inserted correctly.
- Install CPL Filter: Screw the CPL filter onto the front camera lens. This filter helps reduce glare and reflections from the windshield, improving video clarity.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1. Video Recording
The dash camera automatically begins recording when powered on. It records dual-channel videos in 4K (front) and 1080P (rear) resolution, ensuring high-quality footage.

4.1.1. Seamless Loop Recording
The camera features seamless loop recording, which automatically overwrites the oldest unlocked footage when the SD card is full. This ensures continuous recording without manual intervention. Locked files (triggered by G-sensor) are protected from being overwritten.

Figure 4.2: Loop recording ensures continuous capture.
4.1.2. G-Sensor Emergency Lock
The built-in G-sensor detects sudden impacts or collisions. When triggered, it automatically locks the current video segment, protecting it from being overwritten by loop recording. This ensures critical event footage is preserved as evidence.

4.1.3. Super Night Vision with WDR Technology
The dash camera is equipped with advanced night vision capabilities, an F1.8 aperture, and a 6-layer glass lens to capture clear images even in low-light environments. Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) technology automatically adjusts exposure, contrast, and color balance to optimize night-time video recording, providing balanced and detailed footage.

4.1.4. CPL Filter for Glare Reduction
The included CPL (Circular Polarizing Lens) filter reduces glare and reflections from your windshield and dashboard, enhancing overall video quality, color tone, and details, especially in bright sunlight.

4.2. 5GHz WiFi & Smart App Control
The built-in 5GHz Wi-Fi offers faster speeds and more reliable connections compared to standard 2.4GHz networks. This allows for smoother video streaming and quicker file transfers to your smartphone. Pair the dash cam with the dedicated "BOBOCAM" App (available on Google Play and App Store) for easy control, viewing, downloading, and sharing of footage.

4.3. 24/7 Parking Mode
Keep your vehicle protected around the clock with the 24/7 parking mode. When your car is parked, the dash cam continuously monitors its surroundings and automatically records when it detects motion or impact. This feature requires a hardwire kit (not included) for continuous power supply.

5. Maintenance
- Clean the Lens: Regularly clean the front and rear camera lenses with a soft, lint-free cloth to ensure clear video quality. Avoid abrasive materials that could scratch the lens.
- Format SD Card: It is recommended to format the SD card periodically (e.g., once a month) to maintain optimal performance and prevent data corruption. This can usually be done through the dash camera's settings menu or via the mobile app.
- Firmware Updates: Check the manufacturer's website or the BOBOCAM app for any available firmware updates to ensure your dash camera has the latest features and bug fixes.
- Temperature Considerations: While the dash cam is designed for all-weather durability, avoid prolonged exposure to extreme temperatures when the vehicle is parked, if possible.
6. Troubleshooting
