2. Safety Instructions

  • Do not immerse the main body of the espresso maker in water or any other liquid. Never rinse the main body under running water.
  • Keep the device out of reach of children.
  • Use only the provided USB-C cable for charging.
  • Ensure the water tank is filled to the appropriate level; do not overfill.
  • Exercise caution when handling hot water or hot coffee to prevent burns.
  • Do not operate the machine if it is damaged or malfunctioning. Contact customer support for assistance.
  • Only use coffee grounds or capsules compatible with this machine. Refer to the 'Operating Instructions' section for details.

4. Product Overview

Familiarize yourself with the components of your kejector Portable Coffee Maker.

The device consists of a main body with a power button, a water tank, and interchangeable adapters for ground coffee or capsules, which connect to the bottom section where espresso is extracted.

5. Setup

5.1 Initial Charge

Before first use, fully charge the device. The kejector Portable Coffee Maker is equipped with a 7500mAh rechargeable battery.

  • Connect the provided USB-C cable to the charging port on the device.
  • Connect the other end of the USB-C cable to a compatible power source (e.g., car charger, power bank, or wall adapter).
  • The indicator light will show charging status. A full charge supports approximately 4 espresso shots with cold water heating or over 50 brews with pre-heated water.

5.2 Assembling for Use

Ensure all parts are clean before assembly. Refer to the 'Maintenance and Cleaning' section for cleaning instructions.

6. Operating Instructions

The kejector Portable Coffee Maker offers a simple one-button operation for brewing.

6.1 Choosing Your Coffee Type (3-in-1 Versatility)

The machine is compatible with ground coffee, large capsules, and small capsules. It is not compatible with Nespresso Vertuo Series capsules.

  • Ground Coffee: Use the ground coffee adapter. Ensure the coffee powder holder is installed correctly to avoid difficulty in removal. (See Figure 6.3)
  • Large Capsules: Use the large capsule adapter. Dimensions: 2.13" diameter × 1.38" height.
  • Small Capsules: Use the small capsule adapter. Dimensions: 1.46" diameter × 1.18" height.

6.2 Brewing Modes

The device supports two brewing modes: Brewing Mode (for pre-heated water or cold brew) and Heating Mode (for heating cold water).

6.2.1 Brewing with Pre-heated Water (Hot Brew) or Cold Water (Cold Brew)

  • Fill the water tank with hot boiled water (for hot brew) or cold drinking water (for cold brew). The maximum capacity is 60ml.
  • Insert your chosen coffee adapter (ground coffee or capsule) into the bottom section.
  • Place a cup beneath the dispenser.
  • Long press the Power/Mode button to start extraction.
  • The device will extract coffee directly. For hot water, extraction is quick (approx. 20 seconds). For cold water, extraction is also direct, producing a cold brew.

6.2.2 Heating and Extracting with Cold Water (Hot Brew)

  • Fill the water tank with cold drinking water. The maximum capacity is 60ml.
  • Insert your chosen coffee adapter (ground coffee or capsule) into the bottom section.
  • Place a cup beneath the dispenser.
  • Double click the Power/Mode button to initiate heating and extraction.
  • The device will heat the water to 201°F (86°C) in approximately 3-4 minutes before automatically extracting the espresso.

Note: The maximum capacity of the water tank is 60ml (approximately 2 espresso shots). Around 5-10ml of water may remain inside the machine during brewing, resulting in slightly less coffee in your cup.

The flavor of your coffee may vary depending on the grind size and type of coffee beans. Adjust to your preference for optimal taste.

7. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your kejector Portable Coffee Maker.

7.1 Cleaning Mode (Internal Cleaning)

  • Ensure no coffee capsules or powder are loaded in the machine.
  • Fill the water tank with clean water.
  • Place an empty cup under the dispenser.
  • Run the coffee maker once by pressing the Power/Mode button. This will flush clean water through the internal system.

7.2 Parts Cleaning (External Cleaning)

  • Disassemble the coffee cup, coffee powder holder, and capsule holders.
  • Rinse these removable parts thoroughly under running water.
  • Wipe the main body of the espresso maker with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the main body in water or other liquids. Never rinse the main body under running water.
  • Allow all parts to air dry completely before reassembling or storing.

8. Troubleshooting
