5. Setup

Follow these steps for proper installation:

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the unit and all accessories from the packaging. Retain the packaging for future storage or transport.
  2. Positioning: Place the spot cooler on a firm, level surface near a window or opening where the exhaust duct can be vented. Ensure there is at least 20 cm of space around the unit for proper airflow.
  3. Window Panel Installation:
    • Assemble the three window panels to fit your window opening. The panels are adjustable to accommodate window heights up to 180 cm.
    • Secure the assembled window panel kit in the window frame, ensuring a tight seal to prevent outside air from entering.
  4. Exhaust Duct Connection:
    • Attach one end of the exhaust duct to the exhaust air outlet on the back of the unit.
    • Connect the other end of the exhaust duct to the opening in the installed window panel. Ensure both connections are secure to prevent hot air from recirculating into the room. Use the exhaust duct cover for a better seal.
  5. Drainage Setup:
    • For continuous drainage (recommended in high humidity or dehumidification mode), connect the drain hose to the continuous drain port and direct it to a suitable drain or container.
    • For manual drainage, the internal water tank will collect condensate. The unit will stop operating when the tank is full, and an indicator light will illuminate.
  6. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.
