3.2 Controls and Ports

4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Headphones

Before first use, fully charge your HD6BT headphones.

  1. Connect the small end of the USB charging cable to the USB charging port on the headphones.
  2. Connect the large end of the USB charging cable to a USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter).
  3. The LED indicator will show charging status. A full charge provides up to 60 hours of playback.

4.2 Bluetooth Pairing

Pair your headphones with a Bluetooth-enabled device.

  1. Ensure the headphones are powered off.
  2. Press and hold the Power button until the LED indicator flashes blue and red, indicating pairing mode.
  3. On your device (smartphone, laptop, etc.), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  4. Select "PreSonus HD6BT" from the list of devices.
  5. Once paired, the LED indicator will flash blue periodically.

4.3 Wired Connection

For a wired connection, use the included 1/8" audio cable.

  1. Plug one end of the 1/8" audio cable into the 3.5mm audio input on the headphones.
  2. Plug the other end into the audio output of your device.
  3. If necessary, use the 1/4" adapter for devices with a larger audio jack.
  4. Note: ANC functionality may still be used in wired mode, but Bluetooth features will be inactive.
