Control Panel Overview:

5. Setup
5.1 Charging the Battery
Before first use, fully charge the internal 7.4V/4000mAh Li-ion battery. Connect the provided power adapter to the DC IN port on the device and plug it into a wall outlet. The "Charge" indicator light will illuminate during charging and turn off when fully charged. You can also use the car charger cable for charging in a vehicle.
5.2 Initial Power On
Press and hold the Power button until the screen illuminates. The device will boot up and display the main menu or the last used mode.
5.3 Language and Time Settings
Navigate to the "System Setting" menu using the navigation keys and OK button. Here you can set the display language, time zone, and other general system preferences.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Satellite Signal Finding (DVB-S/S2/S2X)
- Connect your LNB cable from the satellite dish to the LNB IN port on the V8 Finder Pro.
- Press the DVB button to select the Satellite mode (DVB-S/S2/S2X).
- From the main menu, select "Satellite" or "Installation".
- Choose the desired satellite from the pre-loaded list or add a new one.
- Select a Transponder (TP) frequency. If not available, you may need to add it manually.
- Adjust your satellite dish's azimuth and elevation. The V8 Finder Pro will display signal strength and quality bars. An audible tone will assist in fine-tuning.
- Once a strong signal is acquired, the "Lock" indicator will illuminate.
- Use the "Spectrum" function (SPEC button) for a visual representation of the signal.
- The device can auto-calculate AZ/EL angles to assist with dish alignment.
6.2 Terrestrial Signal Finding (DVB-T/T2)
- Connect your terrestrial antenna to the ANT IN port.
- Press the DVB button to select Terrestrial mode (DVB-T/T2).
- Navigate to the "Terrestrial" or "Installation" menu.
- Perform an "Auto Scan" or "Manual Scan" to find available channels.
- Adjust antenna direction for optimal signal strength and quality.
6.3 Cable Signal Finding (DVB-C)
- Connect your cable TV signal to the ANT IN port.
- Press the DVB button to select Cable mode (DVB-C).
- Navigate to the "Cable" or "Installation" menu.
- Perform an "Auto Scan" or "Manual Scan" for channels.
6.4 AHD Camera Input
The V8 Finder Pro supports AHD camera input, allowing you to use the device's screen as a monitor for AHD cameras. Connect the AHD camera's video output to the AHD input port on the device. Press the AHD button to switch to AHD camera display mode.
6.5 Software Upgrade
Software upgrades can be performed via the USB port. Download the latest firmware from the official SURRYN website, save it to a USB flash drive, and follow the instructions provided with the firmware file for the upgrade process.
7. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the device. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosols.

8. Troubleshooting
