1. Introduction
Thank you for choosing the NJTY Voltage Tester & Digital Multimeter Bundle. This comprehensive kit provides essential tools for electrical testing, suitable for both DIY projects and professional applications. This manual provides detailed instructions for the safe and effective use of both the Digital Multimeter and the Non-Contact Voltage Tester.
2. Product Overview
This bundle includes two primary devices:
- NJTY T3 Digital Multimeter: A compact device with a vibrant color screen for precise measurements of AC/DC voltage, continuity, resistance, and more.
- NJTY Non-Contact Voltage Tester: A pen-style tester with voice alerts for identifying live and neutral wires, featuring non-contact voltage detection and breakpoint testing.

3. Setup
3.1. NJTY T3 Digital Multimeter Setup
The NJTY T3 Digital Multimeter features a built-in rechargeable battery. Before first use, ensure the device is fully charged.
- Charging: Connect the multimeter to a standard USB power source using the provided Type-C USB cable. The charging indicator will illuminate.
- Test Leads: Insert the red test lead into the 'VΩmA' input jack and the black test lead into the 'COM' input jack. Ensure a secure connection.

3.2. NJTY Non-Contact Voltage Tester Setup
The Non-Contact Voltage Tester is typically powered by internal batteries. Ensure they are properly installed or charged if rechargeable.
- Power On: Press the power button to turn on the device. A self-test may occur.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1. NJTY T3 Digital Multimeter Operation
The multimeter features an auto-function scan for ease of use.
- Power On/Off: Press and hold the power button to turn the multimeter on or off.
- Auto Function Scan: The multimeter automatically detects the type of measurement (AC/DC voltage, resistance, continuity) when the test leads are connected to a circuit.
- Measuring AC/DC Voltage: Connect the test leads across the circuit or component to measure voltage. The display will show the reading.
- Continuity Test: In continuity mode, the multimeter will emit an audible beep if the resistance between the two test points is below approximately 50Ω, indicating a continuous circuit.
- Resistance Measurement: Connect the test leads across the component to measure its resistance.
- NCV (Non-Contact Voltage) Detection: Move the top of the multimeter near an AC voltage source. The device will indicate the presence of voltage without direct contact.
- Data Hold: Press the 'HOLD' button to freeze the current reading on the display. Press again to release.
- Flashlight/Backlight: The multimeter includes a built-in flashlight and backlight for improved visibility in dark environments.

4.2. NJTY Non-Contact Voltage Tester Operation
The voltage tester is designed for quick and safe voltage detection.
- NCV (Non-Contact Voltage) Detection: Place the tip of the tester near a wire or outlet. The device will indicate the presence of AC voltage through visual and audible alerts.
- Sensitivity Adjustment: The tester offers dual sensitivity ranges (12-1000V and 48-1000V). Use the sensitivity button to switch between low and high sensitivity modes as needed for different applications.
- Live/Neutral Wire Identification: The tester uses voice alerts to audibly distinguish between live (hot) and neutral wires, enhancing safety and ease of identification.
- Break-Point Test: Use the tester to identify breaks in wires or cables. Move the tester along the wire; the absence of a signal indicates a break.
- Flashlight & Laser: The tester includes a built-in flashlight for illuminating work areas and a laser for precise alignment or pointing.

5. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the devices with a dry, clean cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Storage: Store the bundle in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Battery Care (Multimeter): Recharge the multimeter regularly, especially if it will not be used for an extended period, to maintain battery health.
6. Troubleshooting
- Device Not Powering On: Ensure the battery is charged (Multimeter) or properly installed (Voltage Tester).
- Inaccurate Readings (Multimeter): Check test lead connections. Ensure the correct measurement mode is selected (though auto-scan helps).
- No Detection (Voltage Tester): Ensure the device is powered on. Adjust sensitivity if necessary.
- Intermittent Operation: Check for loose connections or low battery.
