1. Product Overview

The Topteng Grommet Sleeve Pan Hob Support is designed as a durable replacement for original grommets found in Dometic cookers, cooktops, and combination units in motorhomes and caravans. These grommets provide stable support for pan grids on your hob.

Manufactured from high-quality silicone rubber, these grommets are engineered for enhanced durability and resistance to common issues like pushing through the hob surface. The material is specified to have high temperature resistance, anti-aging properties, and resistance to acids and alkalis, making them suitable for kitchen environments and cleaning products.

2. Compatibility

These grommets are compatible with various Dometic Cookers, Cooktops, and Combination Units. They serve as direct replacements for the following Dometic part numbers:

Note: These grommets are not suitable for the Dometic MO9122 model.

3. Installation (Setup)

The Topteng grommets are designed for a precision fit, ensuring secure placement of your hob's wire grid.

1. Preparation: Ensure the hob surface is clean and free from debris where the old grommets were located.
2. Hole Diameter: The grommets are designed to fit into holes in the hob surface that are approximately 7mm in diameter.
3. Wire Grid Fit: The central opening of the grommet is designed to accommodate a wire grid with a diameter of approximately 4.5mm to 5.5mm.
4. Placement: Gently push the new Topteng grommets into the designated holes on your hob. Ensure they are seated firmly and flush with the hob surface.
5. Re-install Grid: Carefully place the pan support wire grid back onto the hob, ensuring each wire leg is inserted into a grommet. The slightly larger design above the hob surface helps prevent the grommets from pushing through during this step.

4. Care and Maintenance

Due to their high-quality silicone rubber construction, these grommets are inherently resistant to high temperatures, aging, and common cleaning products (acids and alkalis).

• Cleaning: The grommets can be cleaned with standard kitchen cleaning agents. Wipe them down with a damp cloth and mild detergent as part of your regular hob cleaning routine.
• Inspection: Periodically inspect the grommets for any signs of wear or damage. While designed for durability, extreme conditions or prolonged use may eventually lead to degradation.
• Replacement: If a grommet appears cracked, brittle, or no longer holds the pan support securely, it should be replaced to maintain stability and safety.
