5. Operating Instructions

The FlatTac X1 utilizes a dual-switch system for intuitive control.

Main Switch (Black):

  • Momentary Moonlight: Half-press and hold the Main Switch. Release to turn off.
  • Turn On/Off: Single-click the Main Switch to turn on at the last used brightness level. Single-click again to turn off.
  • Adjust Brightness: When the light is on, single-click the Main Switch to cycle through brightness levels (Moonlight → Low → Medium → High).

Auxiliary Switch (Red):

  • Momentary Turbo: Half-press and hold the Auxiliary Switch. Release to turn off.
  • Instant Strobe: Single-click the Auxiliary Switch. Single-click again to turn off.
  • Instant SOS: Double-click the Auxiliary Switch. Single-click again to turn off.

OLED Display:

The intelligent OLED display provides real-time information:

  • Battery Level: Shows remaining battery charge.
  • Brightness Mode: Indicates the current lumen output (e.g., LV1 2000 LMS).
  • Charging Indicator: Displays when the device is charging.
  • Lockout Status: Shows if the flashlight is locked to prevent accidental activation.

Lockout Function:

To prevent accidental activation and conserve battery, use the lockout function.

  • Lock: With the flashlight off, triple-click the Auxiliary Switch (red). The OLED display will show a lock icon.
  • Unlock: Triple-click the Auxiliary Switch (red) again. The lock icon will disappear, and the flashlight will be operational.
