4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Preheating the Oven
Achieving the optimal temperature is crucial for perfect pizza.
- For Wood Pellets: Fill the pellet box with food-grade wood pellets. Ignite the pellets using a safe method (e.g., a fire starter or heat gun). Once ignited, push the pellet box fully into the oven.
- For Gas: Turn the control knob on the gas burner to the 'MAX' position and ignite according to the instructions on the burner unit.
- Monitor Temperature: Allow the oven to preheat for approximately 15 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 750°F-860°F (400°C-460°C). The built-in thermometer on the oven's top surface will indicate the temperature.

4.2 Cooking Your Pizza
Once preheated, you're ready to cook delicious pizzas in minutes.
- Prepare Pizza: Place your prepared 12-inch pizza onto the pizza peel.
- Launch Pizza: Carefully slide the pizza from the peel onto the hot pizza stone inside the oven.
- Rotate Pizza: For even cooking, rotate the pizza every 30 seconds using the pizza peel. This ensures a golden, crispy crust without burnt edges.
- Remove Pizza: After 60-90 seconds (or when crust is golden and cheese is bubbly), carefully remove the pizza with the peel.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning and maintenance will extend the life of your pizza oven.
- Cool Down: Always allow the oven to cool completely before cleaning.
- Pizza Stone: Once cool, scrape off any food residue from the pizza stone. For stubborn stains, you can use a stiff brush and warm water. Do not use soap. Ensure the stone is completely dry before next use.
- Pellet Box/Burner: Remove any ash or unburnt pellets from the pellet box. If using the gas burner, ensure the burner ports are clear of debris.
- Exterior: Wipe down the stainless steel exterior with a damp cloth. For tougher stains, use a stainless steel cleaner.
- Storage: Store the oven in a dry, protected area. The compact design allows for easy disassembly and storage.
6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your FOHERE pizza oven, refer to these common solutions:
- Oven Not Reaching Temperature:
- Pellet: Ensure sufficient airflow to the pellets. Check if the chimney is clear. Add more pellets if needed.
- Gas: Check propane tank level. Ensure gas hose and regulator are properly connected and the gas valve is fully open.
- Uneven Pizza Cooking: Ensure the pizza stone is fully preheated. Rotate the pizza more frequently (every 15-30 seconds).
- Excessive Smoke (Pellet): Ensure proper airflow. The chimney damper (if applicable) should be open. Use dry, quality wood pellets.
- Gas Burner Not Igniting: Check gas supply. Ensure the igniter is sparking. Refer to the gas burner's specific lighting instructions.
