5. Setup Guide
Follow these steps to set up your Vacqueen Automatic Cat Feeder:
- Power Connection:
Plug the power cable into the bottom of the main unit and connect the adapter to a power outlet. For emergency backup, insert 3 AAA batteries into the designated compartment (batteries not included). This ensures continuous feeding during power outages.

- Assemble Bowls:
Lift the base and align the stainless steel feeding bowls into their respective slots. The feeder supports single, double, or triple bowl configurations.

- Install Food Container:
Unlock the host unit, install the food container (grain barrel) by aligning it properly, and then lock it securely. The easy-lock design ensures convenience and security.
- Insert Desiccant:
Remove the center cover from the lid, insert the desiccant pack, and securely fasten the grain cover. The desiccant helps keep the food fresh.

- Fill Food Container:
Open the lid and fill the food container with dry pet food. The 6L capacity can hold approximately 25 cups of kibble. Ensure the kibble size is appropriate (e.g., square/triangle < 0.31 inch, circular < 0.47 inch). Do not use wet food or irregularly shaped food.

- App Setup (Tuya Smart):
Download the "Tuya Smart" app from your smartphone's app store. Follow the in-app instructions to connect the feeder to your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. The app allows for remote control and scheduling.

6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Setting Feeding Schedules
Use the Tuya Smart app to customize your pet's feeding schedule. You can set multiple meals per day and adjust the portion size for each meal (1-20 servings). The feeder's innovative design allows for independent portion control for each of the three bowls, making it ideal for multi-pet households.

6.2 Voice Recording
Record a 10-second voice message through the app. This message will play at each scheduled feeding time, calling your pet to their meal. This feature helps create a familiar and comforting feeding experience for your pets.

6.3 Manual Feeding
You can manually dispense food at any time using the app's manual feeding option. This is useful for providing extra treats or meals outside of the regular schedule.
7. Maintenance
7.1 Cleaning
Regular cleaning is essential for your pet's health and the feeder's longevity. The stainless steel bowls are easily removable and washable. The food container can also be removed for washing. Wipe the main unit with a damp cloth, ensuring all electronic components remain dry.
