6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your EXVIST Wireless HDMI Receiver, refer to the following troubleshooting tips:
- No Signal on Display:
- Ensure the receiver is properly connected to the HDMI input of your display and the correct HDMI source is selected.
- Verify that the receiver is receiving power via the Type-C cable and its indicator light is on.
- Confirm that the transmitter (sold separately) is also powered on and correctly connected to your source device.
- Check the distance between the transmitter and receiver. Reduce obstacles and ensure they are within the effective range.
- Video Lag or Choppy Playback:
- Reduce the distance between the transmitter and receiver. Performance can degrade with increased distance or through multiple walls.
- Minimize interference from other wireless devices (e.g., Wi-Fi routers, cordless phones) by repositioning the units.
- Ensure both units have adequate ventilation to prevent overheating, which can affect performance.
- No Audio:
- Verify that the audio output settings on your source device are correctly configured.
- Check the audio settings on your display device.
- Interference with Other Devices:
- If you experience interference with nearby radio equipment, try repositioning the wireless HDMI units away from sensitive devices.
