1. Introduction

The NUROUM Conference Room Camera System V403-A35x2 is an all-in-one video conferencing solution designed for medium to large meeting spaces. This system integrates a PTZ webcam (V403) with 5X optical zoom and two daisy-chained Bluetooth conference speakerphones (A35) to deliver high-quality video and crystal-clear audio. It aims to provide a professional and cost-effective conferencing experience, supporting up to 20 participants with clear communication.

3. Setup Instructions

The NUROUM V403-A35x2 system offers plug-and-play connectivity for quick deployment. Follow these steps to set up your conference system:

3.1. Connecting the PTZ Webcam (V403)

1. Connect the V403 PTZ webcam directly to your conference room computer or laptop via the provided USB cable.
2. For professional live streaming, the camera's RJ45 port supports Power over Ethernet (PoE) and LAN/NDI, offering additional versatility.

3.2. Connecting the Bluetooth Conference Speakerphones (A35)

1. The A35 speakerphones can be connected via USB, Bluetooth, or a dongle.
2. For optimal audio coverage in medium to large rooms, daisy-chain the two A35 units using the provided cables. This ensures consistent voice pickup clarity for all participants.

4. Operating Instructions

Once connected, the system is ready for use with your preferred conferencing software. The PTZ webcam and speakerphones are controlled via the included remote control.

4.1. PTZ Camera Control

• Pan/Tilt: Use the directional arrows on the remote control to adjust the camera's horizontal (pan) and vertical (tilt) orientation.
• Zoom: Utilize the zoom in/out buttons for 5X optical magnification. The camera maintains high-quality, undistorted images even at maximum zoom.
• Autofocus: The V403 features true autofocus technology for consistently clear shots.
• Preset Positions: The camera supports 4 preset positions. To set a preset, adjust the camera to the desired pan, tilt, and zoom settings, then press the 'SET PRESET' button followed by a number (1-4). To recall a preset, simply press the corresponding number button.

4.2. Audio Control (A35 Speakerphones)

• The A35 speakerphones feature intuitive touch controls for volume adjustment, mute/unmute microphone, and call management.
• Advanced deep learning-based algorithms suppress echo, reverberation, and ambient noise for clear audio transmission.

5. Software Compatibility

The NUROUM Conference Room Camera System is universally compatible with a wide range of operating systems and conferencing/streaming software:

• Operating Systems: Windows, macOS, Linux, ChromeOS
• Software: Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, WebEx, Skype, OBS, YouTube, and others.

6. Placement and Mounting

The V403 PTZ webcam offers flexible placement options to suit various conference room configurations:

• Tabletop: Place the camera on a table using its stable base.
• Tripod: Utilize the standard 1/4" thread base at the bottom of the camera for tripod mounting (mounting accessories not included).
• Wall Mount: The camera can be securely mounted to a wall for a permanent setup (mounting accessories not included).

The system is tailored for medium-to-large conference rooms up to 646 sq ft (60 m²) when utilizing the daisy-chain expansion of the two A35 units.

7. Maintenance

To ensure optimal performance and access the latest features, regular maintenance is recommended:

• Firmware Updates: Download the NearSync software from the official NUROUM website to update the camera's firmware.
• Image Settings: Use NearSync to customize image settings such as brightness, contrast, and other parameters to suit your environment.
• Cleaning: Gently clean the camera lens and speakerphone surfaces with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners.

8. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your NUROUM Conference Room Camera System, refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:

• No Video/Audio: Ensure all cables are securely connected. Check your conferencing software settings to confirm the correct camera and microphone are selected.
• Poor Video Quality: Verify lighting conditions. Ensure the camera lens is clean. Check for available firmware updates via NearSync.
• Audio Echo/Noise: Confirm that noise cancellation and echo suppression features are active. Adjust microphone sensitivity if necessary. Ensure speakerphones are correctly daisy-chained.
• Remote Control Not Responding: Check battery levels in the remote control. Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the camera.
• Software Not Recognizing Device: Restart your computer and the conferencing software. Reinstall device drivers if prompted by the operating system.
