Introduction

The GetD AI Glasses are advanced smart eyewear designed for seamless integration into your daily life. Combining polarized sunglasses with cutting-edge AI translation, Bluetooth music, and call functionalities, these glasses offer a versatile and intelligent experience. They feature an ENC noise reduction microphone, HiFi speakers, and robust eye protection against UV and blue light.

Setup

1. Charging the Glasses

Your GetD AI Glasses are equipped with a 260mAh high-capacity battery. For initial use, ensure the glasses are fully charged. Use the provided magnetic charging cable. A full charge takes approximately two hours and provides up to 11 hours of continuous use at 60% volume, or 15 days of standby time.

2. Downloading the GetD Smart App

To unlock the full potential of your AI Glasses, download the "GetD Smart" application. This app is compatible with both iOS and Android devices.

3. Powering On and Bluetooth Pairing

To power on the glasses, press and hold both temple pieces for more than 10 seconds until you hear the "Power On" voice prompt and see the red and blue breathing lights flash. The glasses feature Bluetooth 5.4 for stable and seamless connection. Once powered on, enable Bluetooth on your smartphone and select "GetD Eyewear" from the available devices to pair.

Operating Instructions

1. Music Playback and Calls

Enjoy high-definition audio for music and calls through the open-ear design, which features dual sound outlets on each temple for enhanced stereo effects. The ENC noise reduction microphone ensures clear call quality by filtering out background noise.

• Play/Pause: Single tap on either temple.
• Next Song: Double tap on the right temple.
• Previous Song: Double tap on the left temple.
• Answer/End Call: Single tap on either temple.
• Decline Call: Double tap on either temple.
• Increase Volume: Single tap on the left temple.
• Reduce Volume: Single tap on the right temple.

2. AI Translation and Assistant Features

The GetD AI Glasses integrate with the GetD Smart App to provide powerful AI functionalities, including:

• AI Dialogue (with ChatGPT): Engage in intelligent conversations.
• Multi-language AI Translation: Translate conversations in 17 supported languages.
• Voice-to-Text: Convert spoken words into text.
• Face-to-Face Translation: Facilitate real-time communication across language barriers.
• Voice Assistant: Activate your phone's voice assistant for hands-free control.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning Your Glasses

To maintain optimal clarity and extend the life of your lenses, regularly clean them with the provided cleaning cloth. For stubborn smudges, use a lens cleaning spray specifically designed for eyewear. Avoid using abrasive materials or harsh chemicals that could damage the TAC lenses or frame finish.

2. Battery Care

The integrated 260mAh battery is designed for over 1,000 charge cycles. To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the glasses frequently. Store them in a cool, dry place when not in use. The glasses feature multiple chip-level protections, including overvoltage and overload safeguards.

3. Water Resistance

The GetD AI Glasses are IPX4 water-resistant, meaning they are protected against splashing water from any direction. They are suitable for light rain or splashes but should not be submerged in water.

Troubleshooting

Issue: Sound in only one ear. Are they broken?

There are two possible reasons for this issue:

1. Low Battery: Due to extended use, the battery in the frame with the chip may have drained first. In this case, you will need to charge the glasses.
2. Firmware Update/Feature Upgrade: The device may be undergoing a hardware update or feature upgrade. This is less common, but if it happens, the user will need to restart the device after the firmware update in order to use it again.

Please follow the steps below to restart the device:

• Step 1: Power On
  Press and hold both temple pieces for more than 10 seconds until you hear the "Power On" voice prompt and see the red and blue breathing lights flash.
• Step 2: Enter Pairing Mode
  Quickly press the left temple twice in succession. The red and blue breathing lights will change to a solid blue flashing light. Update in progress. Maintain power and Bluetooth connection for 30 minutes.
• Step 3: Reconnect via Bluetooth
  Disable then re-enable your phone's Bluetooth (clearing prior connections). Select the glasses' new Bluetooth identifier from discoverable devices to establish connection. Normal operation will resume. Power on/off is controlled via 3-second long-press.
