8. Troubleshooting

  • Appliance Not Responding:
    • Ensure the outlet plug adapter is securely plugged into the wall outlet.
    • Verify the appliance is correctly plugged into the LoraTap adapter.
    • Check if the appliance itself is powered on and functioning correctly when directly plugged into a wall outlet.
    • Confirm the remote control battery (CR2) is not depleted. Replace if necessary.
  • Limited Range or Intermittent Control:
    • Ensure there are no major obstructions (e.g., thick concrete walls, large metal objects) between the remote and the outlet adapter.
    • Move the remote closer to the outlet adapter to test if the range improves.
    • Avoid placing the remote or adapter near strong sources of electromagnetic interference.
  • Interference with Other Devices:
    • The LoraTap system is designed with unique IDs to prevent interference. If you experience issues, ensure no other similar wireless devices are operating on the same frequency in close proximity.

9. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the devices with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Battery Replacement: The remote control uses one (1) CR2 battery. If the remote's indicator light does not illuminate or its range decreases significantly, replace the battery. To replace, carefully open the remote's casing and insert a new CR2 battery, observing polarity.
  • Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the devices in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
