4. Assembly Instructions

Follow these steps to assemble your VEVOR 5-Tier Storage Shelves. No complex tools are required, thanks to the snap-on design.

4.1. Preparation

1. Unpack all components and verify against the package contents list.
2. Ensure you have a clear, level workspace.
3. Wear the included gloves to protect your hands during assembly.

4.2. Standard 5-Tier Assembly

1. Assemble the Base: Connect the bottom horizontal beams to the vertical posts using the snap-on mechanism. Ensure the large circular holes on the vertical pieces face upwards. Use the rubber hammer to gently tap connections into place for a secure fit.
2. Add Lower Shelves: Insert the MDF boards onto the assembled beams.
3. Extend Vertical Posts: Attach the upper sections of the vertical posts to the lower sections using the provided column connectors. Ensure they are securely hammered into place.
4. Install Remaining Beams and Shelves: Continue adding horizontal beams at your desired heights (adjustable in 38 mm increments) and place the remaining MDF shelves.
5. Secure Top Beams: Install the top horizontal beams and the final MDF shelf.
6. Attach Foot Pads: Place the rubber foot pads on the bottom of the vertical posts to protect your floor and provide stability.
7. Install Anti-Tip Kit: For enhanced safety, especially with heavy loads or in unstable environments, install the anti-tip kit to secure the shelving unit to a wall.

4.3. Split Design (Two Smaller Racks)

The unit can be split into two separate, shorter racks for increased versatility:

1. Follow steps for standard assembly, but instead of connecting all vertical posts to form one tall unit, use the column connectors to create two separate sets of shorter vertical posts.
2. Assemble each shorter unit independently, ensuring each has its own top and bottom beams and shelves.
3. Apply rubber foot pads to all bottom posts of both units.
4. If using the anti-tip kit, secure both individual units to the wall.

• Stability: Always use the anti-tip kit to secure the unit to a wall, especially if it will hold heavy items or is in a high-traffic area.
