This manual provides detailed instructions for setting up, operating, and maintaining your TRACY TAG.

3. Operating Instructions
3.1 Locating Nearby Items
If your TRACY TAG is within Bluetooth range of your Apple device, you can make it emit a sound to help you locate it.
- Open the "Find My" app.
- Select the TRACY TAG you wish to locate from the "Items" tab.
- Tap "Play Sound". The TRACY TAG will emit an audible alert, guiding you to its location.

3.2 Locating Distant Items
For items outside of Bluetooth range, the "Find My" network leverages millions of Apple devices worldwide to help you locate your TRACY TAG.
- Open the "Find My" app.
- Select the TRACY TAG from the "Items" tab.
- The app will display the last known location of your TRACY TAG on a map.
- Tap "Directions" to get navigation to the TRACY TAG's last known location.

3.3 Lost Mode
If your TRACY TAG is lost, you can enable Lost Mode in the "Find My" app.
- In the "Find My" app, select your TRACY TAG.
- Scroll down and enable "Lost Mode".
- You can enter a phone number or email address where you can be contacted if someone finds your TRACY TAG.
- When someone finds your TRACY TAG and taps it with their NFC-enabled smartphone, they will see your contact information.
4. Maintenance
4.1 Battery Replacement
The TRACY TAG uses a replaceable CR2032 coin cell battery, which typically lasts about one year. You can monitor the battery status directly within the "Find My" app.
- To replace the battery, gently twist the back cover of the TRACY TAG counter-clockwise until it unlocks.
- Remove the old CR2032 battery.
- Insert a new CR2032 battery with the positive (+) side facing up.
- Align the back cover and twist it clockwise until it clicks securely into place.

4.2 Cleaning and Care
The TRACY TAG is IP67 rated, meaning it is resistant to dust and water. To clean the device:
- Wipe the surface with a soft, damp cloth.
- Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials, as these can damage the device.
- Ensure the device is completely dry before re-attaching it to items, especially if it has been submerged in water.
