2.1 Battery Installation

The Tracy Tag comes with a pre-installed CR2032 battery, which typically lasts about one year. To replace the battery:

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the Tracy Tag.
  2. Gently twist or open the cover as indicated by the device's markings.
  3. Remove the old CR2032 battery and insert a new one, ensuring the positive (+) side faces up.
  4. Securely close the battery compartment cover.
