Setup

1. Aircraft Assembly

  1. Install Tail Fins: Carefully attach both tail fins to the designated slots on the rear of the aircraft. Ensure they are securely in place before flight.
  2. Attach Landing Gear: Insert the landing gear into the slots on the underside of the plane. The landing gear can be removed for hand-toss launches.

2. Battery Charging and Installation

The RC plane uses 7.4V 20C LiPo batteries. It is crucial to use the provided charging cable and follow safety guidelines for LiPo batteries.

  • Connect the battery to the charging cable, then connect the charging cable to a suitable USB power source.
  • The charging indicator will show the charging status. Disconnect once fully charged.
  • Open the battery compartment on the aircraft and carefully insert a charged battery. Ensure the connectors are properly aligned and securely plugged in.
  • Close the battery compartment.

3. Remote Control Pairing

  1. Ensure the aircraft's battery is connected and the plane is powered on.
  2. Turn on the remote control.
  3. The remote control and aircraft should automatically pair. If not, refer to the troubleshooting section.

Operating Instructions

1. Flight Modes

The RC plane features three adjustable flight modes to suit various skill levels and flight preferences:

  • Beginner Mode (Mode A): Provides maximum stability and assistance, ideal for new pilots or windy conditions.
  • Dynamic Flight Mode (Mode B): Offers a balance of stability and maneuverability for intermediate pilots.
  • Freestyle 3D Mode (Mode C): Designed for advanced pilots to perform stunts, 3D flight, and inverted flying with full manual control.

2. Takeoff Procedures

The aircraft supports two takeoff methods:

  • Hand Toss Launch: Hold the plane firmly and gently toss it forward into the wind while simultaneously applying throttle.
  • Runway Glide Takeoff: Place the plane on a flat, clear surface (with landing gear attached). Gradually increase throttle and steer until the plane gains sufficient speed for liftoff.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the aircraft with a soft, dry cloth after each use to remove dust and debris. Avoid using harsh chemicals.
  • Propeller Inspection: Regularly check propellers for damage (cracks, bends). Replace damaged propellers immediately to maintain flight performance and safety.
  • Battery Care: Store LiPo batteries in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Do not overcharge or over-discharge batteries.
  • Silicone Guard: The aircraft is equipped with a silicone guard on the nose for impact protection. Ensure it is properly attached.

Troubleshooting

  • Aircraft not responding: Ensure both the aircraft and remote control are powered on and batteries are charged. Re-pair the remote control if necessary.
  • Poor flight stability: Check for damaged propellers or control surfaces. Ensure the six-axis gyro is functioning correctly (refer to remote control instructions for calibration if available).
  • Short flight time: Ensure batteries are fully charged. LiPo batteries have a limited lifespan and may need replacement over time.
  • Difficulty taking off: Verify sufficient thrust by checking motor function. Ensure you are using the correct takeoff method for your environment (hand toss for smaller spaces, runway for larger).
