3.4 Electrical Connection

This pump requires a 220V electrical connection. A 6-foot power cord is included, but an additional plug is required and must be installed by a qualified electrician. Ensure the circuit is protected by a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI).

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Initial Startup and Priming

  1. Ensure all plumbing connections are secure and watertight.
  2. Fill the pump's filter basket housing with water until it reaches the inlet pipe level. This assists in priming.
  3. Replace the filter basket cover, ensuring it is tightly sealed.
  4. Turn on the power to the pump. The pump should begin to draw water and prime itself. This may take a few minutes.
  5. If the pump does not prime within 5 minutes, turn it off, check for air leaks in the suction line, and repeat the priming process.

4.2 Timer Control

The BOMGIE pool pump features a built-in 24-hour programmable timer with nine run-time options (2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 24 hours).
