Care and Maintenance

Proper care ensures the longevity and performance of your G-Shock watch.

Water Resistance

The GMA-P2100 features 20-bar water resistance. This means it is suitable for everyday use, showering, swimming, and snorkeling. Do not operate buttons while the watch is submerged in water.

Cleaning

Wipe the watch regularly with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, use a soft cloth dampened with water and a mild neutral detergent, then wipe dry. Avoid using volatile agents like thinner or benzine.

Battery Replacement

The watch is powered by an internal battery. When the display becomes dim or functions become erratic, it may be time for a battery replacement. It is recommended to have battery replacement performed by an authorized Casio service center to ensure proper sealing and water resistance.

Biomass Plastic Components

The watch band and other resin parts utilize biomass plastic, contributing to environmental sustainability.

  • Time is incorrect: Re-adjust the time and date settings as described in the 'Getting Started' section. Ensure DST is set correctly for your region.
  • Buttons are unresponsive: Ensure the watch is not in a locked mode (if applicable) or submerged in water. If issues persist, contact support.
