4. Setup and Installation
Follow these steps for a smooth installation. No professional help is typically required.
- Prepare the Shower Arm: Ensure your existing shower arm is compatible. If not, contact customer support for a suitable replacement.
- Apply Teflon Tape: Wrap the threads of your existing shower arm with at least 12 rounds of Teflon tape to ensure a leak-proof seal.
- Install the Extension Arm: Screw the extension arm onto the existing shower arm. Align the extension arm and tighten the spinning locking collar to secure it.
- Install Handheld Showerhead Holder: Attach the handheld showerhead holder to the extension arm.
- Install Rainfall Shower Head: Screw the rainfall shower head onto the top of the extension arm.
- Connect Shower Hose: Connect one end of the 71-inch stainless steel shower hose to the handheld showerhead and the other end to the diverter valve on the extension arm.
- Install Handheld Shower Head: Place the handheld shower head into its holder. Adjust the height of the handheld showerhead holder for convenience.

5. Operating Instructions
Your Hibbent shower system offers multiple modes for a customized experience:
- 4-Way Diverter Valve: Use the knob on the diverter valve to switch between the following modes: Handheld Spray only, Rainfall Spray only, a combination of both Rainfall and Handheld, or Pause Mode (water stop). The diverter is positioned for easy reach.
- 10-Spray Mode Handheld: The handheld shower head features a lever to cycle through 10 distinct spray patterns, including Water Saving, Mist, Powerful Massage, Fast Massage, Rain & Massage, Rain, Pulsating Massage, Soft Massage, Soft Drench Spray, and Wide Fan.
- Wide Fan Mode: Activate the Wide Fan Mode on the handheld shower head for a strong, high-pressure water flow, ideal for cleaning shower walls, tubs, and tiles.

- General Cleaning: Clean the shower heads and hose regularly with a soft cloth and mild soap or a non-abrasive bathroom cleaner. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive scrubbers that can damage the finish.
- Hose Care: The 71-inch stainless steel shower hose is designed to be anti-kink and anti-twist. Avoid excessive pulling or sharp bends to prevent damage.
