3. Setup and Battery Installation

3.2 Installation Steps:
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the main TV unit and the remote control.
- Using a screwdriver (not included), open the battery compartment cover.
- Insert the required batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Replace the battery compartment cover and tighten the screw.
Important: Always use fresh batteries of the recommended type. Do not mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Power On/Off:
To turn the VTech Explore & Learn Smart TV on or off, locate the power switch, usually found on the side or back of the main unit. Slide the switch to the 'ON' or 'OFF' position.
4.2 Using the Remote Control:
- Channel Buttons: The remote features dedicated buttons for different channel categories (e.g., entertainment, informational, sports). Press these buttons to switch between the 10 available channels.
- Music Button: Press the music notes button to activate various sing-along songs.
- Directional Buttons: Use the arrow buttons to navigate or select options within certain activities.
