Introduction

Welcome to the user manual for your new Ulefone Armor X32 Pro 5G Rugged Smartphone. This device is engineered for durability and high performance, featuring advanced 5G connectivity, a powerful MediaTek Dimensity 6300 5G Octa-Core processor, and a robust design with IP68/IP69K and MIL-STD-810H certifications. This manual provides essential information on setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting your device to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

Setup

1. SIM/SD Card Installation

The Ulefone Armor X32 Pro supports a 3-card slot configuration, allowing for two Nano-SIM cards and one microSD card for expanded storage up to 2TB. To install, locate the SIM tray on the side of the device. Use the provided SIM ejector tool to open the tray. Carefully place your Nano-SIM cards and microSD card into their respective slots, ensuring correct orientation. Close the tray securely.

2. Initial Power On

Press and hold the Power Key (located on the side of the device) until the Ulefone logo appears. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the initial setup, including language selection, Wi-Fi connection, and Google account setup.

3. Charging the Device

Connect the provided Type-C charging cable to the phone's charging port and the other end to the AC charger. Plug the charger into a power outlet. The device supports 18W fast charging. A full charge typically provides up to 300 hours of standby time, 30 hours of call time, or 10 hours of video playback.

Operating Instructions

1. Display and Navigation

The Armor X32 Pro features a 5.65-inch LCD display with a resolution of 1440x720 HD+ pixels and a 90Hz refresh rate, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. Navigate the device using touch gestures, including taps, swipes, and pinches. The display offers up to 600 nits of peak brightness for clear visibility.

2. Camera Usage

Your device is equipped with a versatile camera system:

• 64MP Main Camera: Capture high-resolution photos with rich detail. Supports 2K video recording.
• 25MP Night Vision Camera: Utilize the infrared night vision camera to capture clear images in low-light or complete darkness. Ideal for wildlife observation, night scenes, and security.
• 2MP Macro Camera: Explore the microscopic world and capture intricate details of small objects.
• 16MP Front Camera: For high-quality selfies and video calls.

The Armor X32 Pro offers comprehensive connectivity options:

• 5G Network: Experience ultra-fast download and upload speeds with 5G global network support.

• Bluetooth: Pair with Bluetooth accessories like headphones or speakers.
• NFC: Use NFC for contactless payments (Google Pay supported) and other NFC-enabled functions like access control and document signing.
• GPS & Global Navigation Systems: Supports GPS, GLONASS, QZSS, BeiDou, and Galileo for accurate positioning.

4. Special Features

• Custom Key: A programmable side key for quick access to functions like flashlight, underwater camera, or PTT.
• Dedicated Glare Flashlight: A powerful 120-lumen flashlight integrated into the device.
• Face Unlock & Fingerprint ID: Securely unlock your device using facial recognition or the integrated fingerprint sensor.
• Headset-free FM Radio: Enjoy FM radio without needing to plug in headphones.
• IR Blaster: Control compatible infrared devices.
• Gloves Mode: Enhanced touch sensitivity for operation while wearing gloves.

5. Android 14 OS

The Ulefone Armor X32 Pro runs on Android 14, offering a smooth, personalized, secure, and accessible user experience. It includes features like lock screen customization, Health Connect, Ultra HDR, and Widevine L1 certification for high-definition streaming on popular platforms.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning

To clean your device, use a soft, lint-free cloth. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials, as they may damage the screen or casing.

2. Water and Dust Resistance

The Armor X32 Pro is rated IP68/IP69K and MIL-STD-810H, making it highly resistant to water, dust, and drops. It can withstand immersion in up to 2 meters of water for 30 minutes. While robust, ensure all ports are securely closed before exposing the device to water or dust. Rinse with fresh water after exposure to saltwater or other liquids and dry thoroughly.

3. Software Updates

Regularly check for and install software updates to ensure your device has the latest features, security patches, and performance improvements. You can usually find this option in the device's settings under 'System' or 'About phone'.

Troubleshooting

• Device not turning on: Ensure the battery is charged. Connect the charger and wait a few minutes before attempting to power on again. If unresponsive, try holding the power button for 10-15 seconds for a forced restart.
• Poor network signal: Check if your SIM card is properly inserted. Move to an area with better network coverage. If issues persist, contact your service provider.
• Camera not working: Ensure the camera app has necessary permissions. Restart the device. Clear the camera app's cache and data in settings.
• Battery draining quickly: Reduce screen brightness, close unused apps running in the background, and disable unnecessary features like GPS or Bluetooth when not in use.
• Device freezing/unresponsive: Force restart the device by holding the power button. If the issue is frequent, consider performing a factory reset (back up your data first).
