Installation Methods
The Evenflo LiteMax NXT can be installed using one of two methods:
- Vehicle LATCH System: Use the Lower Anchors and Tethers for Children (LATCH) system if available in your vehicle.
- Vehicle Seat Belt: Utilize the vehicle's seat belt in conjunction with the LockStrong belt tensioning system for a secure fit.

Installation Steps (General)
- Place the car seat base rear-facing on the vehicle seat.
- Route the LATCH connectors or vehicle seat belt through the designated path on the base.
- Engage the LATCH connectors or buckle the seat belt.
- Apply firm pressure to the base while tightening the LATCH strap or seat belt until the base moves no more than one inch side-to-side or front-to-back at the belt path.
- Adjust the recline angle of the base to ensure the infant's head is properly positioned and not slumping forward. Refer to the level indicator on the base.

5. Operating Instructions
Securing Your Child
- Place your infant in the car seat with their back flat against the seat back.
- Pull the harness straps over the child's shoulders and between their legs.
- Buckle the crotch buckle, then connect the chest clip. The chest clip should be positioned at armpit level.
- Tighten the harness straps until they are snug against your child's body. You should not be able to pinch any excess webbing at the child's shoulder.
Adjusting the Headrest and Harness
To adjust the headrest and harness height, squeeze the adjustment handle located at the top of the headrest and slide it up or down to the desired position. Ensure the harness straps are at or below your child's shoulders when rear-facing.
Using SensorSafe

Cleaning the Fabric

Cleaning the Harness and Buckles
