The Dhiedas D208F Smart Lock is a versatile biometric security solution designed for sliding doors, glass doors, and patio doors. It offers multiple unlocking methods for enhanced convenience and security.

3.1 Pre-Installation Measurements

• Door Frame Width: ≥1.8" (45mm)
• Clearance: 10mm from frame to lock edge, 28mm to cylinder center.

3.2 Installation Steps

4. Setup

After physical installation, configure your smart lock for optimal use.

4.1 App Connection (Tuya APP)

1. Download the Tuya Smart App from your device's app store.
2. Create an account or log in.
3. On the lock keypad, press '*' then '#' to enter function settings.
4. Select '1' to enter Wireless setting and follow the app's instructions to add the device.
5. Ensure your phone's Bluetooth is enabled and the lock is within range.

4.2 User Management

The lock supports up to 300 users. You can add and manage users (administrators and ordinary users) through the Tuya App. Administrators have full control, while ordinary users have access based on permissions set by administrators.

4.3 Adding Fingerprints, Passcodes, and RFID Cards

Follow the instructions within the Tuya App to register new fingerprints, set up unique passcodes, and enroll RFID cards for quick access. Each method provides a secure way to unlock your door.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Unlocking the Door

• Fingerprint: Place your registered finger on the sensor.
• Passcode: Enter your registered passcode on the keypad, followed by '#'.
• RFID Card: Tap your registered RFID card on the card reader area.
• Mobile App: Open the Tuya App and select the unlock function for your device.
• Mechanical Key: Insert the backup key into the keyhole and turn to unlock.

5.2 Remote Unlocking

To remotely unlock the door for a visitor, instruct them to press '9' then '#' on the lock's keypad. You will receive a notification on your Tuya App, allowing you to approve the unlock request with a single tap. No Wi-Fi or additional gateway is required for this feature.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Battery Replacement

The lock is powered by 4 AAA batteries (not included). It features a low battery reminder to alert you when replacement is needed. Replace all four batteries simultaneously to ensure consistent power. Do not mix old and new batteries.

6.2 Emergency Power

In case of complete battery depletion, use the emergency USB-C charging port to temporarily power the lock and gain access. This port is for emergency power only and does not charge the internal batteries.

6.3 Cleaning

Clean the lock's exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish or electronic components.

7. Troubleshooting

• Lockout after multiple incorrect entries: The lock will automatically shut down for 90 seconds after 5 invalid entry codes or RFID attempts. Wait for the lockout period to expire before trying again.
• Tamper Alarm: The built-in tamper alarm will activate if tampering is detected. Investigate the cause and ensure the lock is securely installed.
• Fingerprint recognition issues: Ensure your finger is clean and dry. Re-register your fingerprint if issues persist.
• App connectivity problems: Check your phone's Bluetooth connection and ensure the lock is within range. Restart the app or re-pair the device if necessary.
• Lock not responding: Check battery levels. If batteries are depleted, use the emergency USB-C power port or mechanical key for access.
