• No Monthly Fee

  The youkey DB322 includes 8GB built-in eMMC storage, eliminating the need for a subscription. Store up to 60 days of event footage directly on the device. Optional cloud and youkey Homebase backup are also supported.

Setup Guide

1. Preparation

• Ensure your existing doorbell wiring is compatible (24 Volts AC).
• Turn off power to your existing doorbell at the circuit breaker.
• Gather necessary tools: screwdriver, drill (if needed), pencil.

2. Mounting the Doorbell

1. Remove your existing doorbell button.
2. Use the provided screw hole positioning card to mark drill holes on your wall.
3. Drill holes if necessary and insert wall anchors.
4. Attach the mounting bracket to the wall using the screws from the screw pack. If needed, use the 15° mounting wedge for angled installation.
5. Connect your existing doorbell wires to the terminals on the back of the youkey doorbell. Ensure a secure connection.
6. Carefully push excess wires back into the wall and attach the youkey doorbell to the mounting bracket, ensuring it clicks into place.

3. Initial Setup & App Pairing

1. Restore power to your doorbell at the circuit breaker. The doorbell indicator light should turn on.
2. Download the 'youkey Life' app from your smartphone's app store.
3. Open the app and follow the on-screen instructions to add your new doorbell. The app will guide you through Bluetooth pairing and connecting the doorbell to your home's 2.4GHz or 5GHz WiFi-6 network.
4. Follow the app's instructions to pair the included chime with your doorbell.
5. Customize settings such as detection zones, notification preferences, and video quality within the app.

Operating Instructions

Live View and Two-Way Talk

• Open the 'youkey Life' app on your smartphone.
• Select your doorbell from the device list to access the live view from both cameras.
• To speak with a visitor, tap the microphone icon in the app. To listen, ensure the speaker icon is enabled.

Motion and Package Detection

• When motion, a human, or a package is detected, you will receive an instant notification on your smartphone.
• Tap the notification to view the live feed or recorded event.
• Customize detection sensitivity and create specific detection zones within the app to reduce false alerts.

Accessing Recorded Footage

• Recorded events are stored on the doorbell's 8GB built-in eMMC storage.
• Access past recordings through the 'Playback' or 'History' section in the 'youkey Life' app.

Smart Home Integration

• Link your youkey doorbell with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant via their respective apps.
• Use voice commands to view the live feed on compatible smart displays (e.g., "Alexa, show me the front door").

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Gently wipe the doorbell lens and body with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
