Setup

1. Initial Charging

Before first use, ensure the camera is fully charged using the provided USB cable and a slow charger. Fast chargers are not supported and may affect battery life.

2. App Installation

Download the official ANRAN app from your smartphone's app store. Ensure you download the correct app to fully manage your camera.

3. Device Pairing

Follow the in-app instructions to pair your camera with the ANRAN app. This typically involves holding the device power button to start, then resetting the device by holding the reset button for 4-5 seconds until the indicator light flashes red. Scan the QR code displayed in the app with the camera lens to complete the pairing process.

4. Physical Installation

The camera is designed for wire-free installation. Choose a mounting location that provides optimal sunlight exposure for the solar panel and a clear view of the area you wish to monitor.

• Mounting the Camera: Use the provided screw pack to securely mount the camera bracket to a wall or suitable surface. The camera then slides onto this bracket.
• Solar Panel Placement: Ensure the adjustable solar panel is installed in a location with direct sunlight exposure, free from shade (e.g., trees, roofs). Recommended installation is facing north and south for optimal charging.

Operating

1. Live View & Playback

Access live video feeds and review recorded history directly through the ANRAN app. The camera provides 4K Ultra HD resolution for clear views.

2. PTZ Control

Utilize the Pan-Tilt-Zoom (PTZ) feature to adjust the camera's viewing angle. The camera supports 355° pan and 90° tilt, allowing for comprehensive coverage with virtually no blind spots. Digital zoom (4x) is also available.

3. Night Vision

The camera features 4 infrared lights and 4 spotlights, providing clear visibility up to 56 feet in the dark. It supports 4K color night vision for enhanced detail in low-light conditions.

6. Storage Options

The camera supports two storage modes: local storage via a Micro SD card (up to 128 GB, not included) and cloud storage (6S Loop Cloud Storage). Choose the option that best suits your needs for recording and retaining footage.

7. App Settings

Maintenance

1. Charging

The solar panel efficiently converts sunlight into electrical energy to keep the camera charged. Ensure the solar panel remains clean and free of obstructions to maximize charging efficiency. The camera can be fully charged in approximately 8 hours of direct sunlight.

2. Weatherproofing

Troubleshooting

• Camera Not Turning On: Ensure the camera is fully charged with a slow charger before initial use.
• Short Battery Life: Verify the solar panel is receiving adequate direct sunlight. Avoid fast chargers for initial charging.
• Connectivity Issues: Ensure the camera is within range of your 2.4GHz WiFi network. 5GHz WiFi is not supported.
• False Alarms: Adjust the motion detection sensitivity settings in the app.
