4. Setup Guide

4.1 Powering On

1. Connect the provided power adapter to the camera's Type-C port.
2. Plug the power adapter into a standard electrical outlet. The camera will power on and the indicator light will begin to flash.

4.2 App Installation & Pairing

1. Download the 'youkey' app from your smartphone's app store (iOS or Android).
2. Register for a new account or log in if you already have one.
3. Follow the in-app instructions to add your youkey P310 camera. The camera supports easy Bluetooth pairing for quick setup.
4. Connect the camera to your home Wi-Fi network (supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi 6). Ensure your Wi-Fi password is correct.

4.3 Mounting Options

The youkey P310 can be placed on a flat surface or mounted to a wall or ceiling. The mounting screw kit is included for secure installation.

• Tabletop/Countertop: Simply place the camera on a stable, flat surface.
• Wall/Ceiling Mount: Use the provided mounting bracket and screws to secure the camera to your desired location. Ensure the camera is positioned to capture the desired area.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Live View & Pan/Tilt Control

Open the youkey app on your smartphone. Select your P310 camera to access the live video feed. Use the on-screen controls to pan (rotate horizontally 360°) and tilt (adjust vertically -10° to 55°) the camera lens to view different areas of the room.

5.2 Two-Way Talk

To use the two-way talk feature, tap the microphone icon in the live view interface of the app. Speak into your phone, and your voice will be transmitted through the camera's speaker. Tap the icon again to end the conversation.

5.3 AI Detection & Alerts

The camera's NeuraMind AI can detect human motion, pet activity, and baby crying. Configure alert settings within the app to receive instant notifications on your smartphone when these events occur. You can also set customizable detection zones to focus on specific areas.

5.4 Auto-Tracking

When enabled, the auto-tracking feature allows the camera to automatically follow moving objects (humans or pets) within its field of view, ensuring they remain in the frame.

5.5 Night Vision

The camera automatically switches to invisible 940nm infrared night vision in low-light conditions, providing clear black and white video without a visible red glow.

5.6 Recording & Storage

The youkey P310 supports local storage via a microSD card (up to 256GB, not included). Insert the microSD card into the designated slot on the camera. You can also opt for cloud storage services (may require a separate subscription) for continuous recording and event-triggered video storage.

5.7 Privacy Mode

Activate Privacy Mode through the app. The camera lens will physically rotate downward, concealing itself to ensure no recording or monitoring occurs. This provides enhanced privacy when you are home.

5.8 Smart Home Integration

The youkey P310 is compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. Link your camera to your smart home ecosystem through the respective apps to enable voice commands for live viewing on compatible smart displays.

6. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the camera lens and body. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Placement: Ensure the camera is placed in a location with good Wi-Fi signal strength and away from direct sunlight or heat sources.
• Firmware Updates: Regularly check the youkey app for firmware updates to ensure optimal performance and security.

7. Troubleshooting

• Camera Offline: Check Wi-Fi connection, power supply, and ensure the camera is within range of your router. Restart the camera and router if necessary.
• Poor Video Quality: Ensure adequate lighting. Check your internet speed and camera placement relative to your Wi-Fi router.
• Failed Pairing: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone. Reset the camera by pressing the reset button (refer to app instructions for location) and try pairing again.
• No Notifications: Check app notification settings on your phone and within the youkey app. Ensure motion/sound detection is enabled.
