1. Important Safety Instructions

Please read and understand all safety instructions before operating this fan. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or serious personal injury.

  • Always unplug the fan from the power outlet before cleaning, servicing, or moving it.
  • Do not operate any fan with a damaged cord or plug. Discard fan or return to an authorized service facility for examination and/or repair.
  • Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Arrange cord away from traffic area and where it will not be tripped over.

  • Do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on any soft surface, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
  • This fan is intended for industrial and commercial use. Do not use outdoors.
  • Ensure the fan is placed on a stable, level surface to prevent tipping. The H-type base provides enhanced stability.
  • Keep children and pets away from the fan during operation.

3. Setup and Assembly

The HiCFM Industrial Drum Fan requires minimal assembly. Follow these steps to prepare your fan for operation.

  1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Verify that all parts are present: fan drum assembly, H-type support base, wheels, comfort handle, and hardware (screws, nuts, washers).
  2. Attach the H-Type Support Base: Align the holes on the H-type support base with the mounting points on the bottom of the fan drum. Secure the base using the provided screws and nuts. Ensure all fasteners are tightened securely.
  3. Install Wheels: Attach the 8-inch solid wheels to the designated axles on the H-type support base. Use the provided pins or caps to secure the wheels in place.
  4. Mount the Comfort Handle: Position the comfort handle on the top rear of the fan drum. Secure it with the appropriate screws.
  5. Position the Fan: Place the assembled fan on a firm, level surface in the desired location. Ensure there is adequate clearance around the fan for optimal airflow and safety.

4. Operating Instructions

This fan features two speed settings for versatile airflow control.

  1. Connect Power: Plug the fan's power cord into a standard electrical outlet. Ensure the outlet matches the fan's voltage requirements.
  2. Select Speed Setting: Locate the speed control switch, positioned on the upper end of the fan drum for easy access. Turn the switch to select either 'Low' (19800 CFM) or 'High' (27300 CFM) speed.
  3. Adjust Direction: The fan drum can be tilted to direct airflow as needed. Loosen the adjustment knobs on the sides of the drum, tilt to the desired angle, and then tighten the knobs to secure the position.
  4. Turn Off: To turn off the fan, rotate the speed control switch to the 'OFF' position. Unplug the fan from the power outlet when not in use for extended periods.

5. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your fan.

  • Cleaning: Always unplug the fan before cleaning. Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe down the exterior surfaces. For the fan blades and protective grills, use a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment or compressed air to remove dust and debris. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Motor: The motor is permanently lubricated and requires no additional oiling.
  • Cord Inspection: Periodically inspect the power cord for any signs of damage, such as cuts, fraying, or exposed wires. If damage is found, discontinue use and have it repaired by a qualified technician.
