4. Setup

5. Operating Instructions
Operating the Mecpow P150 Fume Extractor is straightforward:
- Power On: Turn the main power knob to the 'ON' position. The unit will start operating at a low speed.
- Adjust Suction Power: Rotate the knob clockwise to increase the fan speed and suction power. Rotate counter-clockwise to decrease it. Adjust the speed according to the amount of smoke or fumes being generated.
- Monitoring: Observe the effectiveness of the fume extraction. Ensure that smoke and fumes are being drawn into the hose and away from your workspace.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Filter Replacement
The Mecpow P150 uses a 3-layer filtration system. Filters should be inspected regularly and replaced when suction power decreases significantly or when the filters appear visibly clogged.

- Power Off and Unplug: Always turn off the unit and unplug it from the power source before opening.
- Access Filters: Locate the filter access panel, usually on the top or side of the unit. Open the panel according to the instructions on the unit or in the manual.
- Remove Old Filters: Carefully remove the used filters, starting with the top layer (pre-filter), then the medium HEPA filter, and finally the activated carbon filter. Dispose of used filters responsibly according to local regulations.
- Install New Filters: Insert new genuine Mecpow filters in the correct order: activated carbon filter at the bottom, followed by the medium HEPA filter, and then the pre-filter on top. Ensure they are seated correctly and the foam seal is intact.
- Close Panel: Securely close the filter access panel.
