Setup
Charging the Car Starter Unit:
- Before first use, fully charge the EBTOOLS Car Starter.
- Connect a USB-C charging cable (not included) to the USB-C input port on the car starter.
- Connect the other end of the USB-C cable to a suitable USB wall adapter (5V/2A recommended, not included).
- The LED indicator lights on the unit will illuminate to show the charging status. All lights will be solid when fully charged.
It is recommended to fully charge the unit every 3-6 months to maintain battery health, even when not in use.
Operating Instructions
1. Jump Starting a Vehicle:
IMPORTANT: Ensure the car starter unit is at least 75% charged before attempting to jump-start a vehicle.
- Turn off your vehicle's ignition and all accessories (radio, lights, AC).
- Connect the blue plug of the smart jumper cable to the jump-start port on the EBTOOLS Car Starter unit. Ensure a firm connection.
- Connect the red (+) clamp to the positive (+) terminal of your vehicle's battery.
- Connect the black (-) clamp to the negative (-) terminal of your vehicle's battery.
- Check the indicator lights on the smart jumper cable. A solid green light indicates a correct connection and readiness to start. If a red light or alarm sounds, check connections for reverse polarity or short circuit.
- Once the green light is solid, start your vehicle's engine.
- After the engine starts, immediately remove the black (-) clamp from the vehicle battery, then remove the red (+) clamp.
- Disconnect the smart jumper cable from the car starter unit.

2. Charging Mobile Devices:
The car starter can act as a power bank for your electronic devices.
- Connect your device's charging cable to either the USB-A or USB-C output port on the car starter.
- The car starter will automatically begin charging your device.
- Disconnect your device once charging is complete.
3. Using the LED Light:
The integrated LED light has multiple modes for emergency situations.
- Press and hold the power button for approximately 3 seconds to turn on the LED flashlight.
- Press the power button briefly again to cycle through modes: Flashlight (steady on) > SOS (slow flash) > POS (fast strobe) > Off.
- To turn off the light directly from any mode, press and hold the power button for approximately 3 seconds.
Maintenance
- Store the car starter in its storage bag in a cool, dry place when not in use.
- Avoid storing the unit in direct sunlight or extreme temperatures.
