4.4 Remote Monitoring via App

Download the designated mobile application (refer to the NVR's on-screen instructions or included quick start guide for app name). Follow the app's instructions to connect your NVR for remote viewing and management from your smartphone or tablet.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning

Regularly clean the camera lenses and NVR housing with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the surfaces.

5.2 Hard Drive Management

If a hard drive is installed, periodically check its status through the NVR's system settings. Ensure sufficient storage space is available. The NVR supports a single hard drive up to 6TB.

5.3 Firmware Updates

Check the manufacturer's website or the NVR's system settings for available firmware updates. Keeping your system updated ensures optimal performance and security.

6. Troubleshooting

  • No Video Signal on Monitor:
Check HDMI/VGA cable connections. Ensure the monitor is powered on and set to the correct input source. Verify the NVR is powered on.
  • Cameras Not Displaying:
Ensure cameras are powered on. Check if cameras are within wireless range of the NVR. If issues persist, try re-pairing cameras according to the NVR's on-screen instructions.
  • No Remote Access:
Verify the NVR is connected to the internet via the WAN port. Check your router's internet connection. Ensure the mobile app is correctly configured and linked to your NVR.
  • Recording Issues:
Confirm a hard drive is installed and properly formatted. Check hard drive status in NVR settings for errors or full capacity.
  • System Freezing/Unresponsive:
Restart the NVR by disconnecting and reconnecting the power supply. If the issue persists, consider performing a factory reset (consult the NVR's system menu for this option, noting it will erase settings).
