1. Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the Hisense 1100W Electronic Microwave Oven. This manual provides important information regarding the installation, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your appliance. Please read it thoroughly before use and keep it for future reference.
This microwave oven is designed for domestic use to heat, cook, and defrost food. It features a 45-liter capacity, 1100W power output, and a user-friendly LED touch control display.
2. Important Safety Instructions
Always follow basic safety precautions when using electrical appliances to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, injury to persons, or exposure to excessive microwave energy.
- Do not attempt to operate this oven with the door open as this can result in harmful exposure to microwave energy.
- Do not place any object between the oven front face and the door, or allow soil or cleaner residue to accumulate on sealing surfaces.
- Do not operate the oven if it is damaged. It is particularly important that the oven door closes properly and that there is no damage to the: (1) door (bent), (2) hinges and latches (broken or loosened), (3) door seals and sealing surfaces.
- The oven should not be adjusted or repaired by anyone except properly qualified service personnel.
- Ensure the appliance is properly grounded.
- Do not heat liquids or other foods in sealed containers as they are liable to explode.
- Only use utensils that are suitable for use in microwave ovens.
- When heating food in plastic or paper containers, keep an eye on the oven due to the possibility of ignition.
- If smoke is observed, switch off or unplug the appliance and keep the door closed in order to stifle any flames.
- Overheating liquids can cause delayed eruptive boiling, so care must be taken when handling the container.
- The contents of feeding bottles and baby food jars should be stirred or shaken and the temperature checked before consumption, to avoid burns.
- Eggs in their shell and whole hard-boiled eggs should not be heated in microwave ovens as they may explode, even after microwave heating has ended.
- The oven should be cleaned regularly and any food deposits removed.
- Failure to maintain the oven in a clean condition could lead to deterioration of the surface that could adversely affect the life of the appliance and possibly result in a hazardous situation.
3. Setup and Installation
3.1 Unpacking
Carefully remove the microwave oven and all packing materials from the carton. Check the oven for any damage, such as dents or a misaligned door. Do not operate the oven if it is damaged. Contact your dealer immediately.
3.2 Placement
- Place the oven on a flat, stable surface that can support its weight and the heaviest food item likely to be cooked in it.
- Ensure adequate ventilation. Leave a minimum of 20 cm (8 inches) of space above the oven, 10 cm (4 inches) at the rear, and 5 cm (2 inches) on both sides. Do not block any ventilation openings.
- Do not place the oven near heat sources such as a conventional oven or radiator.
- Keep the oven away from radio and TV sets. Microwave oven operation may cause interference to your radio or TV reception.
3.3 Electrical Connection
This appliance operates on 230V/50Hz power. Ensure your electrical outlet matches these specifications. The microwave oven must be properly grounded. Do not use an extension cord or adapter.

Regular cleaning is essential for optimal performance and longevity of your microwave oven. The grey interior cavity is designed for easy cleaning.

- Interior: For light spills, wipe with a damp cloth. For stubborn food residue, place a bowl of water with lemon juice inside and heat for 2-3 minutes on high power. The steam will loosen the residue, making it easier to wipe clean.
- Door and Seals: Clean the door, door seals, and front face of the oven regularly with a damp cloth to remove any spills or splatters.
- Turntable: The 345mm glass turntable can be removed and washed in warm soapy water or in a dishwasher. Ensure it is completely dry before placing it back in the oven.
