Setup

1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the toaster from its packaging. Retain packaging for storage or return if necessary.
2. Placement: Place the toaster on a stable, heat-resistant, and dry surface, away from flammable materials. Ensure adequate ventilation around the appliance.
3. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wipe the exterior with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the toaster in water.
4. First Use (Burn-off): Operate the toaster empty on the highest setting (5 minutes) for a few minutes to burn off any manufacturing residues. A slight odor or smoke may occur; this is normal. Ensure the area is well-ventilated.

Operating Instructions

1. Connect Power: Plug the power cord into a standard AC110V, 60Hz electrical outlet.
2. Insert Bread: Place slices of bread into the toasting slots. The toaster accommodates up to 6 slices.

3. Set Toasting Time: Rotate the timing knob to select the desired browning level. The timing range is 1 to 5 minutes.

4. Start Toasting: Press the power switch to begin the toasting cycle. The toaster will automatically pop up the toast when the selected time expires.
5. Cancel Function: To stop the toasting cycle at any time, press the power switch again.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your toaster.

1. Unplug: Always unplug the toaster from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
2. Crumb Tray: Pull out the crumb tray located at the bottom of the toaster. Dispose of crumbs and wipe the tray clean with a damp cloth. Reinsert the tray securely.

3. Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the toaster with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or metal scouring pads, as these can scratch the stainless steel finish.
4. Interior: Do not attempt to clean the interior heating elements. If food becomes lodged, unplug the toaster, allow it to cool, and carefully invert it to dislodge the food. Do not use metal utensils.
