3. Setup Instructions
3.1 Initial Setup
- Insert MicroSD Card: Before powering on, insert a compatible MicroSD card (not included) into the designated slot on the main unit. Push until it clicks into place.
- Power On: Connect the dash cam to your vehicle's power source using either the included Hardwire Power Cable or the Cigar Jack Cable. The device will power on automatically.
- Language Selection: Follow the on-screen prompts to select your preferred language. Use the navigation buttons to scroll and the confirmation button to select.
- Time Format & Time Zone: Set the desired time format and select the correct time zone for your current location. The device uses built-in GPS for automatic date and time synchronization.
- System Frequency: Choose the appropriate system frequency (e.g., 60Hz for NTSC/US) to minimize video flickers.
- Rear Camera Usage: Select whether to enable or disable the rear camera. This setting can be changed later.
- Resolution & Frame Rate: Choose your desired video resolution and frame rate for both driving and parking recordings.
- Bitrate: Select the desired bitrate (Low, Mid, High). Higher bitrate offers better quality but uses more storage.
- Memory Allocation: Configure how storage space is allocated for different recording modes (Driving, Parking, Event).
- Format SD Card: After completing all settings, the device will prompt you to format the SD card. Confirm to proceed. The system will restart once formatting is complete.

3.2 Mounting the Dash Cam
Mount the front camera unit on your vehicle's windshield, ensuring a clear view of the road. Use the provided adhesive tape for secure attachment. The rear camera should be mounted on the rear windshield, positioned for optimal visibility. Route the rear camera cable neatly using the included cable clips and trim tool.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Power On/Off
The dash cam automatically powers on and begins recording when your vehicle starts. To manually power off, use the dedicated on/off switch located on the device.

4.2 Recording Modes
- Continuous Recording: Automatically records when the vehicle is in motion.
- Event Recording: Triggered by impacts or sudden braking, saving footage as a protected event.
- Parking Recording: Activates when the vehicle is parked, utilizing low-power modes and motion/impact detection.
4.3 Parking Mode Features
- DURASHIFT Parking Mode: Intelligent heat management prevents shutdown in extreme temperatures, ensuring continuous monitoring.
- Geofencing: Define specific locations (e.g., home, work) where parking mode will automatically deactivate to conserve battery.
- Battery Protection: The dash cam monitors your vehicle's battery voltage and automatically shuts off if it drops below a safe level, preventing full discharge.

4.4 AI Features

- MicroSD Card Management: Regularly format the MicroSD card (at least once a month) to maintain optimal performance and prevent data corruption. Replace the card if it shows signs of wear or error.
- Lens Cleaning: Keep the camera lenses clean using a soft, lint-free cloth. Avoid abrasive materials that could scratch the lens.
- Firmware Updates: Check for and install firmware updates via the companion app to ensure your dash cam has the latest features and bug fixes.
6. Troubleshooting
- Dash Cam Not Powering On: Ensure the power cable is securely connected to both the dash cam and the vehicle's power source. Check the vehicle's fuse if using the hardwire kit.
- Recording Issues: Verify that a MicroSD card is inserted and properly formatted. Check the memory allocation settings.
- Poor Video Quality: Ensure lenses are clean. Check resolution and bitrate settings. Consider adjusting the CPL filter for glare reduction.
- Wi-Fi Connection Problems: Restart the dash cam and your smartphone. Ensure you are within range of the dash cam's Wi-Fi signal.
- Parking Mode Not Activating: Confirm the hardwire cable is correctly installed and connected. Check parking mode settings and battery protection voltage thresholds.
