Front Panel and Top Controls:

• LED Display: Shows current mode, track number, time, and battery indicator.
• CD Compartment: Top-loading tray for compact discs.
• VOL - / VOL +: Adjusts volume level.
• CD/USB: Toggles between CD and USB playback modes.
• EQ: Cycles through equalizer presets (Pop, Rock, Jazz, Classic, Flat).
• Previous / Next: Skips tracks or tunes radio stations.
• Play/Pause: Starts or pauses playback.
• Stop: Stops playback.

Setup

1. Powering the Device:

The KLIM Boombox E1 can be powered via the included AC adapter or its internal rechargeable battery.

• AC Power: Connect the power adapter to the DC IN port on the rear of the unit and plug the other end into a standard wall outlet.
• Battery Power: The unit has a built-in rechargeable Lithium Ion battery. Fully charge the unit before first use for optimal battery life. The battery indicator on the LED display will show charging status.

2. Remote Control Battery Installation:

1. Open the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.
2. Insert two AAA alkaline batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
3. Close the battery compartment securely.

Operating Instructions

General Operation:

• Turn on the main power switch on the rear of the unit.
• Press the STANDBY button on the unit or remote to power on.
• Press the MODE button repeatedly to cycle through available input sources: CD, FM, Bluetooth, AUX, USB.
• Adjust volume using VOL - and VOL + buttons on the unit or remote.

CD Playback:

1. Open the CD compartment cover.
2. Carefully place a CD (audio CD or MP3 CD) onto the spindle, label side up.
3. Close the CD compartment cover.
4. Press the MODE button until "CD" appears on the display.
5. The CD will begin playing automatically. If not, press the Play/Pause button.
6. Use Previous / Next buttons to skip tracks.
7. Press Play/Pause to pause/resume playback.
8. Press Stop to stop playback.

FM Radio:

1. Press the MODE button until "FM" appears on the display.
2. To auto-scan and save stations: Press and hold the Play/Pause button. The unit will scan and store available FM stations.
3. To manually tune: Use the Previous / Next buttons to fine-tune the frequency.
4. To recall saved stations: Briefly press the Previous / Next buttons.

Bluetooth Connectivity:

1. Press the MODE button until "BT" or "Bluetooth" appears on the display. The unit will enter pairing mode, indicated by a flashing Bluetooth icon.
2. On your smartphone, tablet, or other Bluetooth-enabled device, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
3. Select "KLIM Boombox E1" from the list of devices.
4. Once paired, the Bluetooth icon will stop flashing, and you can play audio from your device through the boombox.

AUX Input:

1. Connect one end of the included 3.5mm AUX cable to the AUX IN port on the rear of the boombox.
2. Connect the other end to the headphone jack or audio output of your external device (e.g., MP3 player, smartphone).
3. Press the MODE button until "AUX" appears on the display.
4. Play audio from your external device. Volume can be controlled on both the boombox and the external device.

USB Playback:

1. Insert a USB flash drive containing MP3 audio files into the USB port on the rear of the unit.
2. Press the MODE button until "USB" appears on the display.
3. The unit will automatically detect and begin playing MP3 files from the USB drive.
4. Use Previous / Next buttons to skip tracks.

Equalizer (EQ) Settings:

Press the EQ button on the unit or remote control to cycle through different sound presets:

• Pop
• Rock
• Jazz
• Classic
• Flat (default)

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior of the unit. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• CD Care: Handle CDs by their edges. Clean dirty CDs with a soft, lint-free cloth, wiping from the center outwards.
• Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the boombox in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
• Battery: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Recharge the unit regularly, even if not in constant use.
