Operation
Setting the Clock and Delay Brew Timer
The Gevi coffee maker features a 24-hour programmable timer for convenience.
- Setting the Clock:
- Press the "ON/OFF" button to turn on the coffee maker.
- When the timer display blinks, press the "Hour" and "Minute" buttons to set the current time.
- Press the "ON/OFF" button again to confirm the clock time.
- Setting the Delay Brew Timer:
- After setting the clock, press the "Delay Brew Timer" button.
- When the timer display blinks, use the "Hour" and "Minute" buttons to set your desired delay brewing time.
- Press the "Delay Brew Timer" button again to confirm the delay brewing time.
- Note: If you press the "ON/OFF" button after setting the delay brew, it will cancel the delay brewing setting.
- Once set, the machine will automatically brew at the preset time.

Making Coffee
Follow these steps to brew a fresh pot of coffee:

Iced Coffee Option
Enjoy refreshing iced coffee with your Gevi coffee maker:
- Prepare Water: Fill the water tank with room temperature water, ensuring it does not exceed the MAX mark for iced coffee (indicated on the water level gauge).
- Add Coffee Grounds: Place the permanent filter into the filter basket and add your desired amount of ground coffee.
- Prepare Carafe with Ice: Fill the carafe with ice cubes up to the "max ice cubes" mark. Do not overfill.

Setting the Keep Warm Timer
The coffee maker features an adjustable keep-warm timer to ensure your coffee stays hot for longer.
- Brew Coffee: First, brew your coffee as usual.
- Activate Keep Warm Timer: After selecting your desired brewing style (and before starting the brew), press the "KEEP WARM TIMER" button.
- Adjust Time: Use the "Hour" and "Minute" buttons to set your preferred keep warm duration (from 5 minutes up to 3 hours and 59 minutes).
- Confirm Setting: Press the "KEEP WARM TIMER" button again to confirm your selection.
- Start Brewing: Finally, press the "ON/OFF" button to start brewing. The coffee maker will automatically keep the coffee warm for the set duration after brewing is complete.

Cleaning and Maintenance
Daily Cleaning
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and prolongs the life of your coffee maker.

Descaling
Over time, mineral deposits (scale) can build up in your coffee maker, affecting its performance and coffee taste. The descaling indicator will illuminate on the screen when it's time to descale.
- Preparation: Ensure the coffee maker is cool. Remove the filter and filter basket and discard any coffee grounds.
- Prepare Descaling Solution: Dissolve a descaling powder (such as Gevi's recommended citric acid descaling powder) in water according to the product instructions. Fill the water tank with this solution up to the 12-cup mark.
- Start Descaling: Place the empty carafe on the warming plate. Plug in the machine. Press and hold the "CLEAN" button to start the descaling process. The clean icon will illuminate.
- Completion: The descaling cycle will take approximately 15 minutes. Once complete, the clean icon will stop flashing.
- Rinse Cycles: Empty the carafe and fill the water tank with clean water. Run at least two more full cleaning cycles with only clean water to rinse out any remaining descaling solution.
