4. Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Krunia Carplay Screen, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Cleaning the Screen: Use a soft, lint-free cloth to gently wipe the screen. For stubborn smudges, slightly dampen the cloth with water or a screen-safe cleaner. Avoid abrasive materials or harsh chemicals.
- Cable Management: Ensure all cables are neatly routed and secured to prevent damage from snagging or pinching.
- Temperature Exposure: Avoid exposing the device to extreme temperatures (very hot or very cold) for extended periods, as this can affect battery life and screen performance.
- Magnetic Mount (RC04): Periodically check the adhesion of the magnetic base to ensure it remains secure. Clean the magnetic contact points on both the screen and the mount if dust or debris accumulates.
- Rear View Camera (RC04): Keep the camera lens clean from dirt, mud, or snow to ensure a clear view. The camera is IP67 waterproof, but avoid high-pressure washing directly on the lens.
