1. Introduction

The TAO Clean UV Sanitizing Sonic Toothbrush and Cleaning Station is designed to provide an effective and hygienic oral care experience. 2. Product Overview

The TAO Clean system consists of two primary components: the Sonic Toothbrush and the UV Sanitizing Station.

  • UV Sanitizing Station: A docking station that charges the toothbrush, dries the brush head, and sanitizes it using UV-C light.

3. Setup

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure all parts are present: sonic toothbrush handle, brush head, and UV sanitizing station with power adapter.
  2. Initial Charge: Connect the UV sanitizing station to a power outlet. Place the toothbrush handle upside down into the station. The station will begin charging the toothbrush and initiate the sanitization cycle. A blue light on the station indicates active charging and sanitization.
  3. Attaching Brush Head: Align the brush head with the metal shaft on the toothbrush handle and push down firmly until it clicks into place.

4. Operating Instructions

Your TAO Clean Sonic Toothbrush is designed for optimal oral hygiene with user-friendly features.

  • Power On/Off: Press the power button on the toothbrush handle to turn it on. Press again to turn it off.
  • Speed Settings: The toothbrush offers dual speed settings:
    • Super Clean: For a powerful and thorough cleaning.
    • Sensitive Clean: A gentler mode suitable for sensitive teeth and gums.
    Toggle between these settings using the mode button below the power button.
  • Smart Timer: The toothbrush features a dentist-recommended 2-minute timer. It will automatically shut off after 2 minutes. Additionally, a brief pause every 30 seconds will remind you to move to a different quadrant of your mouth, ensuring even cleaning.
  • Brushing Technique: Apply a small amount of toothpaste to the brush head. Place the bristles against your teeth at a slight angle towards the gum line. Move the brush gently across all surfaces of your teeth, allowing the sonic vibrations to do the work.
  • UV Sanitizing Station: After each use, rinse the brush head thoroughly and place the toothbrush handle upside down into the UV sanitizing station. The station will automatically initiate a sanitization cycle using UV-C light, eliminating 99.9% of bacteria, and will also dry the brush head while charging the toothbrush.

5. Maintenance and Care

  • Brush Head Replacement: For optimal performance and hygiene, replace your brush head every 3 months, or sooner if the bristles appear frayed. Replacement brush heads are available from Tao Clean.
  • Cleaning the Toothbrush Handle: Wipe the toothbrush handle with a damp cloth as needed. Do not submerge the handle in water.
  • Cleaning the UV Sanitizing Station: Periodically clean the inside of the UV sanitizing station to prevent residue buildup. Unplug the station before cleaning. Use a damp cloth to wipe the interior. Ensure it is completely dry before re-inserting the toothbrush or plugging it back in.
  • UV-C Light Function: The UV-C light is designed to sanitize the brush head. Avoid direct exposure to the UV-C light. The station is designed to activate the light only when the toothbrush is properly docked.

6. Troubleshooting

  • Toothbrush not turning on: Ensure the toothbrush is fully charged. Place it in the UV sanitizing station for several hours.
  • Sanitizing light not activating: Verify the toothbrush is correctly seated in the UV sanitizing station. Ensure the station is plugged into a working power outlet.
  • Reduced brushing effectiveness: Replace the brush head if it is older than 3 months or if bristles are visibly worn.
