2. Safety Instructions

4. Setup

4.1 Unpacking

Carefully remove the microwave oven and all packing materials from the carton. Check the oven for any damage, such as dents or a misaligned door. Do not operate the oven if it is damaged. Contact customer support immediately.

4.2 Placement

  • Place the oven on a flat, stable surface that can support its weight and the heaviest food likely to be cooked in the oven.
  • Ensure adequate ventilation. Leave a minimum of 10 cm (4 inches) clearance at the rear, 20 cm (8 inches) at the top, and 5 cm (2 inches) on each side.
  • Do not block air vents.
  • Keep the oven away from heat sources, steam, or splashing liquids.

4.3 Power Connection

Plug the power cord into a standard 230V, 50Hz AC outlet. Ensure the outlet is properly grounded. Do not use extension cords or adapters.

4.4 Installing the Turntable

Place the roller ring in the center of the oven cavity. Position the glass turntable securely on top of the roller ring. Ensure the turntable rotates freely.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Basic Microwave Operation

  1. Place food in a microwave-safe container on the glass turntable. Close the oven door.
  2. Press the MICROWAVE button.
  3. Use the numerical keys to enter the desired cooking time.
  4. Press the POWER button repeatedly to select the desired power level (e.g., P100 for full power, P80 for 80% power).
  5. Press ENTER to start cooking.

5.2 Convection Cooking

The convection function allows you to bake and roast foods with circulating hot air, similar to a conventional oven.

  1. Place food on the appropriate rack (if provided) in the oven. Close the door.
  2. Press the CONVECTION button.
  3. Use the numerical keys to set the desired temperature.
  4. Press ENTER to confirm the temperature.
  5. Use the numerical keys to set the desired cooking time.
  6. Press ENTER to start convection cooking.

5.3 Grill Function

Use the grill function for browning and toasting.

  1. Place food on the grill rack. Close the door.
  2. Press the GRILL button.
  3. Use the numerical keys to set the desired grilling time.
  4. Press ENTER to start grilling.

5.4 Auto Cook Menus (66 Pre-set Programs)

Your Haier microwave oven features 66 pre-set auto cook menus for various dishes. These programs automatically set the optimal power level and cooking time.

  1. Press the MENU button.
  2. Use the numerical keys to select the desired auto cook menu number (refer to the recipe chart in the separate recipe book, if provided).
  3. Press ENTER to confirm the selection.
  4. The oven will display the recommended weight or quantity. Adjust if necessary using numerical keys.
  5. Press ENTER to start cooking.

5.5 Defrosting

The auto defrost function allows for quick and efficient thawing of frozen foods.

  1. Place frozen food in the oven. Close the door.
  2. Press the DEFROST button.
  3. Use the numerical keys to enter the weight of the food.
  4. Press ENTER to start defrosting. The oven will calculate the defrosting time automatically.

5.6 Child Lock

The child lock feature prevents accidental operation by children.

  • To activate: Press and hold the STOP/CANCEL button for 3 seconds. A lock indicator will appear on the display.
  • To deactivate: Press and hold the STOP/CANCEL button for 3 seconds again. The lock indicator will disappear.
