2. Safety Instructions
- Eye Protection: Do not shine the flashlight directly into eyes. The powerful beam can cause temporary vision impairment or permanent damage.
- Heat Warning: The flashlight head can become hot during prolonged use at high output levels. Handle with care to avoid burns.
- Battery Safety: Use only recommended rechargeable Lithium-Ion batteries. Do not mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries. Do not dispose of batteries in fire.
- Children: Keep out of reach of children to prevent accidental activation or misuse.

5. Setup
5.1 Battery Installation
- Unscrew the tail cap of the flashlight.
- Insert the Fenix 18650 Lithium-Ion battery with the anode (+) end facing towards the flashlight head.
- Screw the tail cap back on tightly to ensure proper contact and water resistance.
5.2 Initial Charging
Before first use, it is recommended to fully charge the battery. Refer to the "Charging" section for detailed instructions.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Power On/Off
- To Turn On: Press and hold the side switch for 0.5 seconds.
- To Turn Off: Press and hold the side switch for 0.5 seconds.
6.2 Mode Switching
With the light switched on, single-click the side switch to cycle through the general modes: Eco → Low → Med → High → Turbo.
6.3 Strobe Mode
With the light switched on, press and hold the side switch for 1.2 seconds to enter Strobe mode. Single-click the side switch to return to the previously used general mode.
6.4 Lockout Function
- To Lock: With the light switched off, double-click the side switch within 0.5 seconds. The light will blink twice on Low mode to indicate locked status.
- To Unlock: With the light locked, double-click the side switch within 0.5 seconds. The light will unlock and activate on Low mode.
- Note: If the light is locked and the switch is pressed, the light will blink twice on Low mode to remind you it is locked.
6.5 Battery Level Indication
Each time the light is turned on, the indicator on the side switch will display the battery status for 3 seconds:
- Green Light: 100% - 85%
- Green Light Flashes: 85% - 50%
- Red Light: 50% - 25%
- Red Light Flashes: 25% - 1%
7. Charging
- Connect the magnetic charging cable to the charging port on the flashlight.
- Connect the USB end of the cable to a USB power adapter (e.g., phone charger, computer USB port).
- The indicator light on the side switch will glow red during charging.
- Once charging is complete, the indicator light will turn green.
- Disconnect the charging cable.
Note: The flashlight can be used on Low mode while charging, but charging time will be extended.
8. Maintenance
8.1 Cleaning
- Clean the flashlight body with a soft cloth.
- Periodically clean the electrical contacts of your flashlight, especially if it flickers or fails to light up.
- Lubricate the O-rings with silicone grease regularly to maintain water resistance.
8.2 Battery Care and Storage
- Remove the battery if the flashlight will not be used for an extended period.
- Store the battery in a cool, dry place.
- Recharge the battery every four months to maintain optimal performance.
9. Troubleshooting
9.1 Flashlight Not Turning On
- Check if the battery is inserted correctly with the anode (+) facing the head.
- Ensure the tail cap is screwed on tightly.
- The battery may be depleted; try charging it.
- The flashlight may be in lockout mode. Double-click the side switch to unlock.
9.2 Light Flickers or Intermittently Turns Off
- Clean the battery contacts and the contact points on the flashlight with an alcohol swab.
- Ensure the tail cap is tightened securely.
- The battery may be low; try charging or replacing it.
9.3 Flashlight Not Charging
- Ensure the magnetic charging cable is properly connected to both the flashlight and the USB power source.
- Try a different USB power adapter or port.
- Check if the charging cable is damaged.
