3. Setup

Unpacking and Placement

1. Carefully remove the appliance and all packaging materials from the box.
2. Remove any protective film or stickers from the appliance.
3. Inspect the appliance for any damage. Do not use if damaged.
4. Place the appliance on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface, such as a kitchen countertop.
5. Ensure there is at least 20 cm (8 inches) of clear space above the appliance, 10 cm (4 inches) at the rear, and 5 cm (2 inches) on each side for proper ventilation. Do not place it inside a cupboard or enclosed space.
6. Keep the appliance away from heat sources, such as stoves or ovens, and away from water.

Initial Use

1. Before first use, wipe the interior and exterior of the appliance with a damp cloth.
2. Wash the turntable, turntable ring, air fryer tray, and grill rack in warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
3. Place the turntable ring in the center of the oven cavity, then place the glass turntable on top, ensuring it sits securely.
4. Plug the appliance into a grounded electrical outlet. The display will show "0:00" or similar.
5. Set the clock: Press the "Clock/Timer" button, use the "+" or "-" buttons to set the hour, press "Clock/Timer" again, then set the minutes. Press "Clock/Timer" to confirm.
6. It is recommended to run the appliance empty for 5-10 minutes on a high heat setting (e.g., Air Fry at 230°C) to burn off any manufacturing residues. A slight odor or smoke may be present; this is normal. Ensure good ventilation during this process.

4. Operating Instructions

The Haden 4-in-1 appliance offers multiple cooking modes and convenient presets for various dishes.

Cooking Modes

Select your desired cooking mode using the dedicated buttons on the control panel.

4.1. Microwave Cooking (900W)

• Press the "Micro" button.
• Use the "+" or "-" buttons to set the cooking time.
• Press "Start" to begin cooking.
• For quick start, press the "+30 Sec" button to add 30 seconds of cooking time at full power. Repeated presses add more time.

4.2. Air Fry Cooking (1500W)

• Place food on the air fryer tray.
• Press the "Air Fry" button.
• Use the "+" or "-" buttons to set the cooking time and temperature (up to 230°C).
• Press "Start" to begin air frying.

4.3. Grill Function

• Place food on the grill rack.
• Press the "Grill" button.
• Use the "+" or "-" buttons to set the cooking time.
• Press "Start" to begin grilling.

4.4. Microwave + Convection (Combi)

• Press the "Micro + Conv" button.
• Select the desired convection temperature using "+" or "-" buttons.
• Set the cooking time.
• Press "Start" to begin combination cooking.

4.5. Auto Cook Presets (8 Options)

These presets are designed for common microwaveable foods. Refer to the appliance's internal label or user interface for specific food types (e.g., Milk Coffee, Potato, Rice, Spaghetti, Fish, Beef/Mutton, Skewered Meat, Cake).

• Press the "Auto Cook" button repeatedly to cycle through the auto cook options (AC01-AC08).
• Press "Start" to begin cooking.

4.6. Air Fryer Presets (7 Options)

These presets are optimized for popular air-fried foods (e.g., Chicken Drumstick, Chicken Nuggets, Chicken Wings, French Fries, Mozzarella Sticks, Onion Rings, Chicken Popcorn).

• Press the "Air Fry" button, then use the "+" or "-" buttons to select the desired air fryer preset (AF01-AF07).
• Press "Start" to begin air frying.

4.7. Speed Defrost

• Press the "Defrost Time/Weight" button.
• Use the "+" or "-" buttons to select the defrost time or weight.
• Press "Start" to begin defrosting.

4.8. Timer Function

• Press the "Clock/Timer" button (when not setting the clock).
• Use the "+" or "-" buttons to set the desired countdown time.
• Press "Start". The timer will count down without activating any cooking function.

4.9. Auto Reheat

• Press the "Auto Reheat" button.
• Press "Start" to begin reheating.

4.10. Express Cook

• Press the "+5 Min" or "+1 Min" buttons for quick cooking at full microwave power.
• Press "Start" to begin.

4.11. Child Safety Lock

• To activate: Press and hold the "Stop/Cancel" button for 3 seconds until a beep sounds and the lock indicator appears on the display.
• To deactivate: Press and hold the "Stop/Cancel" button for 3 seconds until a beep sounds and the lock indicator disappears.

5. Maintenance

Cleaning Instructions

1. Always unplug the appliance from the power outlet before cleaning.
2. Allow the appliance to cool completely before cleaning.
3. Interior: Wipe the interior cavity with a damp cloth and mild detergent. For stubborn stains, place a bowl of water with lemon slices inside and microwave for 2-3 minutes to loosen residue, then wipe clean. The stainless steel interior is designed for easy cleaning.
4. Exterior: Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
5. Door and Door Seal: Clean the door, door seals, and adjacent parts carefully with a damp cloth to remove any spills or splatters.
6. Turntable, Turntable Ring, Air Fryer Tray, Grill Rack: These components can be washed in warm, soapy water or placed in the dishwasher (if dishwasher-safe, refer to specific component instructions). Rinse and dry thoroughly before reassembling.
7. Control Panel: Wipe gently with a soft, damp cloth. Do not allow water to seep into the control panel.
